    Loretta Lynn Qualifier Schedule

Unfortunately, for California guys, they live so far from the race that we probably only see a fraction of them at LL's. It's likely that they would dominate worse than they do now if geography wasn't such an issue for them. There's no doubt that MX Sports is a money machine, which is...

    Loretta Lynn Qualifier Schedule

I think you're looking at it backwards. Some regions have typically been much tougher than others. It has leveled a little in recent years, but why should a guy from a slow region get to go just because he gets top 6 on a gate full of goons and another guy gets 9th from a region that is...

    Loretta Lynn Qualifier Schedule

This all reminds me of an old quote i've heard. "Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story." This August I'll be ready to see CK317 put'er in the top 5 of the 40+.

Should we hit the emergency button??

Until you have a kid out there it's tough to understand how you could feel relieved about the idea of your kid not racing. I think being a racer yourself causes you to realize the danger. I think parents who didn't race are sometimes ignorant to it.

Should we hit the emergency button??

The practice day thing is talked about a lot and how it is killing racing. I've thought about it another way. Maybe Ohio is ahead of the curve and practice days ARE the future. It fits perfectly with how society has shifted to a more laid back demeanor. People these days want everything to...

Where are the racers? At the GNCCs

My next bike will be a KTM/Husky 350. Probably SXF instead of XCF. Not sure about the 6 speed gearbox on the XC for moto. Cover all the bases of moto, offroad and play riding. My Suzuki 450 is a bit a beast in the woods. KTM 300's are great bikes, but I prefer 4 strokes.

Where are the racers? At the GNCCs

Rode my first Harescramble in 15 years last Saturday at Sandusky Valley. Super fun track. Got there at 10:30 am, unload, sign up, race at noon and left around 3:00. 2 hours on the hour meter.

    No more mudders?

This was a few weeks ago. His results haven't set the world on fire, but I feel like we are building lots of different skills with the different types of riding we do. https://www.instagram.com/p/BJMH9tqD2zMPMJLhFWEZwKmthHjWTVKkBE5Qq00/

    No more mudders?

My kid raced his PW in the mud at Briarcliff on Saturday after the rain storm. Who knew kids still did that?

    Nationals

I like tough conditions, but long straights with peg deep ruts across the track is a bit much. If you watch the gp's it seems to be a theme there as well.

Why do people get butt hurt because of what some post on here???

I agree with pm's being a better form of expressing your opinion about a track sometimes. I'll give an example that I can relate to. I flip houses on the side. Let's say I have a house listed on the mls. Obviously buyers can't post comments on a page like that, for good reason. I do care...

    Briarcliff mx this weekend?

What exactly are the facts? I'm curious myself. For the record, I've rode at Briarcliff more times than I can remember in past 10 years and attended all of the Battle races there as well as Loretta's qualifiers and have never seen a chopper there. I know a kid from around here that was...

    Briarcliff mx this weekend?

You must not have rode there back in mid 2000's if think he just keeps making it more dangerous with bigger jumps. .....and back then it was tame compared to what Kenworthy's used to be. Jeremy has continued to tame the track down every year while tweaking the layout somewhat.

Practice and Race forums now self moderated

I think it would be great if more track owners posted on here and bounced ideas of off of us, but we have a few yahoos who think it is there right to step all over and trash everything that is said and then call it their opinion. Freedom is a tricky thing. One guy thinks he should get to...

No it isn't. A park owned by the government is a public forum. This is a privately owned establishment.
