Best Track - Eastern IN/ Western OH

It's a bit into the middle of Ohio but you won't go wrong with briarcliff. Well worth the ride.

Did anyone see the moto last night?

Any chance there is a link available for the milsaps episode from lastnight? With no fuel channel I'm crossing my fingers. Last weeks YouTube version was nice.

    Need some coating done

I know capital does good work. Haven't used ace yet but they are close to my new place so I will have to give them a try. As far as anodizing goes, try akron anodize.

    air filter cleaning agents?

I used no toil for a few years. But due to a deal on maxima spray on oil I got a while back I've been using it and buying pj1 cleaner. No toil is good stuff and as soon as my supply of maxima dries up i will return to no toil. One thing I did notice with it is that if you leave it on for a while...

    air filter cleaning agents?

If the filter already had no toil oil on it your fine. But I suspect you had regular oil on it. If that's the case the no toil won't work. I use pj1 spray on cleaner. Works good and available off the shelf at kames.

Favorite race memory of helping someone at a race??

Got another one.... Red Bud about 2002ish. Idk. I was wandering around the pits checking stuff out. When Bo Bowman walks by. We chat for a min and he says bye and that he's heading home. I asked him why? He says a bearing let to in his transmission on his Honda. I offered to fix it for him. So...

Favorite race memory of helping someone at a race??

The best I can come up with is one time at OIR I let Hershey ride my bike. Mainly because the week before I pretty much whiskey throttled my way past him in a corner. End result was him with a thrashed bike. I believe missing the top of the tank or something. So when he had bike issues the next...

    Ready for a Dust-Free '79 Season?

Moto sounds almost like a better place back then. I feel like one of the old guys at the track. But that buckeye page has a date one month and day before I was born. Reading how dusty things were back then and the mud would make most kids cry now. Thanks to the guys that came before us. You were...

    Larger footpegs

I've been running lightspeed Ti pegs for years now. Really nice products, tough as nails and stay sharp for what seems like forever. Had pivot pegs back in the day. Didn't bother me at all. But other would get on the bike and flip out. Easy way to keep friends from riding. You bike. Lol.

    Heavy fork springs

Call up factory connection. (866) 220-1151 I did the forks on a cr125 for a big kid. Funny that the heaviest springs I could find we're same as stock from any of the manufactures. Factory connection was very helpful and custom made springs in the rate I needed. Shipped to my door in about 15...

    OMA-District X

Personally I like the ideas here. With two little ones coming up I hope you guys get a great thing going so they have a better place to play in when they are old enough. The different types of awards is nice too. I have boxes of old plaques. Have no idea what to do with them. Maybe build a...

    OMA-District X

Very cool idea. Definately out of the box thinking here. Fewer classes...more riders off the gate=more fun. Now if I could just get out of the shop and do some riding.......

    Want a CRF150-X. Any ideas?

Flywheel weight is a good idea. Like said before most offroad guys run them. A must for a 2 stroke. Cam timing? I know on the 450s the gear is bolted on. I have run slotted cam gears and that makes some difference. The 250 gear is part of the cam so you only get a full tooth difference. Not...

    Get it running.....

    Want a CRF150-X. Any ideas?

A thicker base would give you less compression and not affect the timing enough to matter. Gasket material can be bought in multiple thicknesses. This could be your best easiest fix.

    Cr 250 Triple clamps

The steering stop has given me some issues on a couple swap jobs. Seeing as the newer frame is different than the 02 version you may have a slight issue. I just marked them and cut the tabs to match in a Bridgeport.

Big Bore kit for a RMZ-450?

I recently installed an Athena 490 kit in an 08 rmz450. Only reason was the cost dif from stock. The crank bearing went bad and splattered parts all over the cylinder wall. It still ran but sounded horrible. Only did break in rides as of now but man does it have tons of torque. Feels like a 500...
