Hand Racing Promotions @Big Game Raceway

Here is some go pro footage of Jeremy and Michael Hand. Cool to see one on a 4 stroke and one on a 2 stroke. It gives such a different feel for the track.

Moto making a comeback in Southern Ohio?

John, that wasn't a slight concussion that was a concussion. Glad to hear you're okay, but you should probably go get checked out.

I agree with you , but this isn't the thread to post about another track.

You do realize that those two races are at Budds Creek and Tomahawk. I have no problem with you coming on Pitracer and promoting yours series in your own thread. But it shows no class coming on here and putting down other promoters races. Whether its the Hand's, or someone else's race.

John, come on up to Big Game this weekend. They still should have a big gate of vets and they still do the best job of track prep in the state . Should be a good time.

    Spongy YZ250 front brake

I put a ASV brake lever on my sons Yamaha YZ85 and the brake felt spongy. I tried bleeding the brake but it still felt spongy. So I decided to put the stock lever back on and it felt great. Put the ASV lever back on and it felt spongy. He wanted the ASV lever, so that's what he riding with.

    Stuck in a rut

With all of the great things that the Hands did at OIR, I think that one of the main reasons that the Hands had big turn outs at OIR was because they didn't have open practice. So the only time to ride there was on race day. I talk to some local riders tonight at Apple Cabin and they said they...

    Stuck in a rut

I agree with you on everything except the Sunday practice. Could you imagine how many races may have been there if no one was practicing?

    Stuck in a rut

Might work at BC, but not at other OMA tracks? No C rider will move up to B just so they can race on the big track. It will force them to race B at the LL qualifiers (LOL!). If they want to run the big track they will just go to a open practice at BC.

    Stuck in a rut

There's a lot of reasons that the track attendance are down and most of them have nothing to do with the track promoters. The biggest problem is that there are not enough new riders. The days of riding at the local gravel pits, vacant lots, block of woods or farmer fields are over. My father...

    Bill Wetzel

I just wanted to let everyone know that Bill Wetzel passed away last Tuesday at home. Bill and his wife Carolyn own Wetzels Suzuki and Husqvarna in Mentor. Bill had a lot of great racers that he had riding out of his shop, riders like Al Pizzino, Harold Robison, Al Chuppa, Gary Easton, Carl...

C Class - Loretta Lynns Qualifiers

Local tracks should run A class (pros), B/C class and Beginners (open cc, no mini's, and 10 race max). The racers who run B/C can then run B or C at the LL qualifiers. Let MX sports worry about the sandbaggers!

C Class - Loretta Lynns Qualifiers

It would with no doubt solve all the problems. Back in 1986 I raced the 250B class at Kenworthy. No C class! There was over 60 riders that day in the 250B class, probably more in 125B. They split us up and ran two qualifiers and a consolation race. Then they put 40 riders on the line and ran...
