    BC Sunday

Lots of work done, water truck has been rolling non stop since 2:30. Don't be scared.

    Race Ohio Membership Cards

100% agree it's not about the $5 but the principle. It's getting out of control. If a RaceOhio card is required for quads to race at the Chillitown Halloween race then I'll stay home.

    Battle for Ohio Round 1 May 27 & 28

Yeah Scoob the best was from BC area is definitely 77 to 30 to 43 and cutting across Elson Street. Is a few more miles but it's actually 10 minutes quicker. And WAY less stop lights/stop signs which suck when pulling a camper.

    Qualifier question

I can also vouch for Dave, he voted for 3 laps. As we already had in place the plan of running 3 laps or 10 minues, whichever came first. This wasn't a big deal, but after seeing the previous 50 class going 10 minutes a lap, we just made it 1 lap so there was no expectations of a full 3 laps...

    Qualifier question

Okay I'll bite. I just so happened to be working staging and the gate as Dave said. After the 2 gates of vet rider raced (after voting to race), I went to call riders to the gate as usual. At the same time I was calling numbers the official (Adam) was asking each rider in private for their...

    MEAQ5 - Briarcliff Mx 4-29 thru 4-30

Now there is a great story! I was working the starting gate/staging and was thinking wow, these guys are hard core old school! Well done. There was so much standing water that when I went to drop the gate there was a crawldad just hanging out in the starters box. No idea where he came from...

So you get $0.02 when you give your two-cents. Nice.

    Roczen

If you saw the interview in Florida (around the time of the Daytona SX) and saw him moving his bad arm around with his good arm, that arm looked dead. I can't see him ever coming back competitively.

    Daytona

I had a blast today. We got to run the same track as the amateur bikes since it down poured Monday night. Track lead to some great racing. Way more fun that 2 years ago.

    Iron Pony does it again???

Iron Pony was awesome 5-10 years ago, they had twice as much dirt gear than they do now and the late season gear clearance racks were awesome. It's still worth a visit nowadays regardless.

    Daytona

We are rolling south as soon as my daughter gets out of school Thursday. I think my family is more excited about going than me. I'd imagine they change the start to more of a chicane to the right for us amateurs rather then the loop-de-loop on the map.

    Rt 62

I thought the sessions were ran really well and the track seemed to hold up well for both 2 and 4 wheels. I never thought that we had to sit around and wait too long. it was just right. Maybe having some way to signify what the order is and/or what's on track near the entrance of the track? I...

    Rt 62

You definitely had your work cut out for you Lonnie! I thought the track was pretty good in general, it was well above my riding abilities for February. Those table tops are jumpable even for a old slow quad rider, just not the first ride of the year. And those whoops, they were a real...

    The Stewarts back for Oakland

Wow I assumed Malcolm would still be on a 250, he could be a threat to crash a contender in the 450 class.

If you don't think the Battle for Ohio is a serious series you are delusional.

Should we hit the emergency button??

The split schedule misses my point somewhat. With open practice's popularity you need to incorporate racing into more of a practice setting is what I was getting at. I absolutely love how the battle format works for quads. I can practice all day if I like and the I know my motos will click...

Should we hit the emergency button??

I feel like there is a big difference between say the old Columbus indoor race/supercross and local/national outdoors in comparison. You see a lot more casual spectators at a supercross than the hard core fans at say a Red Bud national. I know a lot of people who go to Indy SX that barely know...
