I personally think it's a great idea. Like said before, they are already racing the GNCC series and numbers are growing. ATV/UTV combined events could be a big hit. The guys who can afford to buy/maintain those UTV's clearly have the money to take them racing.

The funny thing is, in other classes (at least twice) there were other complaints (rolling starts, etc.). But those people actually came up (me working the gate) and said "hey this guy was seen doing this first moto" or "this guy is know for this or that" So then I would go warn the guy or...

There's a walkway between the lanes now, was added after the spring race and before the qualifier. Much better now.

Brutally honest!

I hope there is a plan in place to run qualifiers and a main rather than just splitting classes if there is more than 20 in a class. I've heard a lot of chatter for this race and am really hoping for some big classes.

Big thanks to Jason, Tina, and the whole Malvern crew for a great weekend and great track conditions. I had a blast, but was disappointed with the turnout Sunday as well.

I think you are having a hard time seeing the forest for the trees. You can't hyper-focus on getting those cheap-a***s to try racing as "the way to grow the sport". There are plenty of areas to grow the sport. If it wasn't for the QUALITY of the OMA and tracks such as Malvern, Chillitown, and...

There were around 650 qualifier forms sold out of the 819 entries. (Technically you don't have to send any money to MX sports to race a qualifier). And I would guess 10 or so new memberships sold.
