Guy that crashed in the pond at Briarcliff in mid July on the C track

I had the pleasure of riding Briarcliff in mid July, however when I ventured over to the C track it didnt take long before somebody sank their bike in the pond. I was involved in helping the older gentlemen who ghost rode his bike into the pond by getting himself out of the pond and back to his...

    Best riding story of 2011

That is a sick picture. He is truly dedicated to the sport!!! Best riding story for me is finally getting back on two wheels after a four year stint on wheelers and trying to make it big. I almost made it until a broken leg occurred. However I spent 16 years on a bike, four years off, and I...

    tree huggin

Speaking of monster trucks, I have been in charge of the quad wars for the Monster Jam shows in Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan, for the past four years, and I bet you will be happy to know that everything about Monster Jam is 99% staged!!!! What team wins the quad wars, what driver wins the heads...

    Pusheta Creek MX Nov. 5 & 6

I'll be out all day. Bringing the cameras as usual, and hoping to turn Gross loose on the video camera. See what happens..

    tree huggin

I completely agree. Off road races are so long that it would be almost impossible to cover every inch of the race. A lot of people like to see crashes, big air, bright lights, and lots of fluff that is associated with sx and mx. Off road racing and spectating for that matter have a select...

    With winter coming.....

You could do a multiple of things. As always you can go ride Earlywine, OMA in Anna, Ram Jam in the surrounding Cleveland area, and NEMX by the Ohio state line with PA in Andover I believe. All are worthy of the drive, but it is going to cost a pretty penny in gas these days to go ride...

    Best indoor track????

A good top notch quad rider will utilize any rut carved by a bike without polishing off the corners. Its the slower quadbillys without experience that blow corners out. Briarcliff Mx knows what I am talking about, he probably sees it all the time on the C track. Most dirt bike riders do not...

Track critique, what do you think...?

Going off the past few tracks I rode, here is what I think. Briarcliff Mx- I like the location of the track, the layout, the flow to a certain degree, and the fact that there are multiple tracks splitting up the riders. I could ride there all day and have fun with friends. The only areas I...

Track critique, what do you think...?

Being a big part of a local practice facility, I decided to start a new thread. Within this thread tell us about your local track(s), what you love, and what you think they can improve upon. I intend to gain knowledge of things that can be improved upon, what people like, and things of that...

    Best indoor track????

As you will notice at the end of my post, I do believe I said that it was "just my thoughts....", yet some how that translates into being called out on everything I've ever done or ridden. I mean I raced the entire atv mx series in 2009 and 2010 competing in A class and 450 A, so I have rode on...

    Broken Leg

I broke my leg in August of last year, and had seven months of non weight bearing, so I can relate. Turns out I can crash a wheel chair too even though it doesnt have handle bars. None the less, here I am walking normally again, riding and such, but my calf on my injured leg is still 4.5...

    Best indoor track????

Its possible, but the fact of having three fluke days doesnt say much for overall track prep ya know? I can ride most outdoor tracks 10 times and have one fluke day from wind, excessive mud, etc, but indoors with crappy conditions is rather inopportune. My personal preference is that I would...

    Nikon 18-200 VR lens

I bought a Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 af lens for an all around lens. I use it for portraits, mx shots, and just general photography. Im pretty happy with it, and it didnt break the bank when I bought it new. Let me know how much you're selling your lens for and I'll spread the word around here as well.

    YZ fork seals seeping

I would agree with sliding down the dust seals and cleaning with contact cleaner. It doesnt hurt to apply a small amount of fork oil with your finger to the areas that you sprayed contact cleaner on. This will keep the rubber moisturized and keep it from drying out. Worse comes to worse...

    Clutch problems?

I have an 08 yz450f that I bought used from a vet a class rider. It only had 30 hours on it when purchased, of which I have proceeded to add to greatly this year. However on my first woods ride of the year, I smoked the clutch to the point that when in high rpm's the clutch would slip like it...
