    Best indoor track????

It holds the moisture in. The track doesn't dry out so fast.

    Best indoor track????

I know Rich at RJ's had truck loads of sawdust hauled in along with some other stuff that makes the soil real nice to work with.

First jump ever hit? what bike?

1969 Honda QA50 with a cinder block and a short piece of plywood on the sidewalk. The 1/4" plywood broke, ran into the cinder block and crashed hard at close to 10 mph since 2nd gear didn't work. Lots of scrapes cuts and bruises but luckily that football helmet saved my face! Then got my ass...

I spoke to Scott and Tim at the last Meadowlarks 2 day race and I tip my hat to that kid and his dad! Scott and Tim have a great attitude and a very positive outlook on the future! Was spinning around the parking lot on a utility quad with a few friends having a great time being around what he...

Pros and Cons To moving up?

Scott, I have to agree with Vince also. CRA in my opinion is pretty weak compared to some of the AMA races I've seen. Not taking anything away from guys like Kenny Henry and some of those fast guys that will compete with anyone anywhere. Scotty is a real good rider, but I don't think he's ready...

    Best indoor track????

Ram Jams in Lorain, Ohio is always a great indoor practice track. The way the track is set up, the beginners have as much fun as the fast high level guys. It's always a fun safe track with some of the best dirt you'll see anywhere and the track changes every month or so.

    Got Scrub?

Any lower and he'll have to shorten the handle bars and foot pegs! That is incredible!

    Amherst Meadowlarks 9-13-11

I'll bet I can turn a faster lap on the tractor than farmer Dan! If I was home, I would have considered doing my annual lap. I just need to find someone that will loan me a little 50. I like the idea that I can touch the ground on it! Yes, this was a shot Dan!

Nothing new. Track is the same, we just ran the back section through the woods a little different. The track was sweet!

    Amherst question

The bottom of the hill we've been battleing all year long. We were trying to keep more water in the pond and made a few mistakes on the way. At the beginning of the year, we could have raced jet ski's down there, so that's still a project in the works. At one point, we were trying to figure out...

    Amherst question

The big jump started out at 120' and it's down to 80' from peak to peak. It was a nice size double, but we had complaints about it because of the speeds that you had to carry to make it, and if you came up short, it was broken bones. Since I don't ride, I keep my personal comment to myself. We...

    worst track ever

I'm one of the track guys at Amherst Meadowlarks. Trevor hit the nail on the head, we deal with so many varibles, specially the weather. I work for hrs on the track and it's pot luck every race. We get criticized for starting late because it rained the night before and the conditions are brutal...

    Dane Leimbach (sad news)

When I first became a member at Meadowlarks back about 6 years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Dane. Kind of a hard core guy I thought at first, but I quickly realized that the hard core was nothing more than passion and compassion. After talking to some of the old timers that I seen at a lot...

I see newcomers to the board....

I'm also new to post here. Been looking at the site for a couple of years and the info here is really quick and up to date. I know a lot of folks on here and I finally decided to sign up. I don't ride anymore except for my traditional 1 lap a year at Amherst Meadowlarks. Too many aches and pains...
