Crow was plenty wide. Not sure how it compares to a normal HS race, but it was totally fine. I only bounce off a few trees. lol. I am not a woods guy, but I prefer a more technical course overall, both in the wood and on the track.

How many hours on the bike?

It looks like that update is from two years ago. I would love to ride the one track configuration.

That is the same weekend as the High Point Vet race / GP, which I was planning on doing this year since I'm a GP guy now. lol Hopefully Motoland will have other practices this year. That is a track I have always wanted to ride.

That was the 10AM session. Course was in excellent shape. By 1PM session, the course was a bit gnarly, but still a blast. Turnout seemed good. I talked to Jack briefly. Things ran well and the weather cooperated. I am not sure if I am more mystified by fast woods riders or fast mx'ers...

MERP was awesome! I raced two classes / sessions and somehow survived! lol. Will definitely be attending the next two MERPs.

Ironically, yes, at the last Crow Canyon GP in 2013. Chris Hudak got a bad start and proceeded to slice through the pack quickly. I got a good start, but looked ridiculously slow when he passed me. I was the Honda rider that he passed for second.

The only racing that matters this weekend is Vintage Days at Mid-Ohio. Just an FYI, they have a class for modern two-strokes. Vintage Hare Scrambles are starting now I think. MX is Saturday and Sunday, along with Trials and Road Racing.

I made an effort to check their fb page, but I did get a notification also. FB algorithms are screwy for sure though.

For some reason when I read that I thought it said 6' umbrella girls holding beer filled trophies. Then I re-read it. Dammit, sounded better the first time.

I raced vet fest in 2005 and 2015. Loved it in 2005. Did not love it in 2015. I plan to go back though. I saw on FB that they are making some changes now. Looked like a massive step up jump being built somewhere.

Awesome! That is one of my favorite tracks. Glad to hear it is still a great facility. I last rode there in 2007. On a related note, they always have a round of the MXVets series. This year it is in July.
