Score them as is. You get 10th of 30...lets see...OMA points for 10th of 30. Software...your already scoring separate races. You can do it again. Draft 2 separate events that day...one for qualifiers, one for points. With both receiving the data of actual race results...filtered separately...

Ohio State Motocross Championship. The real deal state championship...1 race at each track No minimums...you want to win...then show up. Engrave the Battle Races as North, South, Invaders. Introduce a Annual Trophy engraving with the year and which region won the championship to be presented...

The points are already split into two; tracking the races and then the qualifier which is the race within the race. Allow folks to chase OMA points that want to. You don't have to worry about interfering with others racers on the track because they already race together...qualifying or not...

Ok not divisions persay...but an integration of structure to hold divisions as well as state races in the future. Business plan. As for people to choose north or south is good...but can compete at any OMA tracks. It's already a geographical certainty with the amount of tracks and racers in...

With more tracks comes more opportunities for creavity. A GP series can work now as long as each track puts in a good effort unlike the past. Division`s in 2016...but that might be pushing it...maybe 2017. Expand Battle Series with qualifiers at different tracks. North and South qualifiers...
