You can ride my 450. I'm gonna heat cycle the completely fresh motor this week and then it needs ridden before I take it to it's new owner. That's if your just looking to ride for fun.

This thread isn't about placing blame as much as it is about taking an honest look at our sport. Glad CK and Fry cleared things up...in Fry's defense (not that he needs it,) he would be one of the first people to point something out that needed fixed at the track. Love that chest protector.

What can be practically implemented on a local level right now? I am all for some higher standards on protective gear for racing as for what is required to be worn. But you can't force knee braces or neck braces. You can enforce knee pads and check protectors to the list of already required...

Protective gear is the best it has ever been. I presume it would be hard for riders to accept an inflatable type protection mainly because we need air flow to our bodies...or more injuries by heat exhaustion would become evident. I have personally been ridiculed and critiqued for being what was...
