    Can’t decide

Can't go wrong with a Honda or Yamaha for quality build. The Yamaha suspension and electronics push it to the top in my opinion.

Deegan is starting to show his "entitlement" mentality that was always present at the amateur level. I honestly think he thought this east title was his this season and he was going to walk through the season with it.

Some day Matthew will be going around to all the hot spots in Volusia County and he will find his number plates all over the place from 25 years ago. I've been trying to spread them around the last few years.

This one from two years ago of Matthew was a little cooler. Matthew doesn't get the same style points this year.

This my friends is why Daytona will have major changes in the front stretch viewing area. Daytona is super strict. People were on the track when. Some riders had half a track left and riders were racing through people to the finish. Daytona absolutely will make changes that this does not...

This track this year is ZERO indication of what the race really is like. The track was a joke. But all the rain hurt them. I thought it was nuts the classes they took the entries from 68 down to 34 this year. Good year for it to happen. The only classes that they opened up to 68 were 250A...

    2024 SX Thread

Daytona is already very strict with everything on the property. This week was a bit frustrating for me, because gates that have always been open for years were closed, the storms Sunday morning kept things from even opening, etc. But now you have fans that watch from the front stretch open...

After 30 months off a motocross bike, Matthew talked me into riding the 2024 Daytona Amateur Supercross. Plan was to hit the gym, ride some over the last two months. Nah, I rode one time, and let's go racing. Got an awesome 6th place start on a destroyed track due to lots of rain. The ruts...

    Pax trax money race

$36,750 paid out in purse money for 42 entries. Nuts. I seriously would have thought with the national arenacross series in town, the supercross in town, that there would have been a whole lot of fast privateers that would have packed that gate for that race. Looking at the payout, most...

    2024 Ohio Moto

I will call Rocky and see if he wants to buy some more lights for Dirt Country. He bought some from a baseball complex that closed. Dirt Country is supposed to run a couple outlaw races this year.

Local Track Closes and Forces Schedule Change

Let's be 100% honest. Having the Buckeye Series, viva, OMA, D12 all in one state is a joke. Just my opinion and I've only been around Ohio moto 54 years of my life (yeah my dad has been a DMC and D11 member since 1967, before I was born) Ohio needs two santioning bodies. When I was a kid it...

Worst rule change ever for amateur racing

Honestly, I was trying in my mind to figure what any reasoning behind this would be? Too many parents bitching at the event that such and such passed under yellow? Too hard to police? There is no logic in it.

"Welcome to the Danger Zone" Who thinks that tag line was off the cuff or a marketing guy said say this when you win a race and we will sell lots of T Shirts the following week.

The street legal bikes with tags never needed a pit pass. I don't think they can prohibit you from riding those. You will probably have to park it in the garage area or outside the fan zone though and not up behind the bleechers.
