never done a team race, stupid question but hows the team stuff work? switch off riders whenever? or does everyone ride and its scored based on your team?
HH was a fun one last year. I'm still trying to nurse a hand injury from vet fest.... i ALMOST feel like I could ride. I MIGHT be able to make this happen on sunday, we'll see! I bought a damn 250f just for merps this year and have managed to hurt myself before almost every one of them.
guts wide foam. offer in it all of the configurations (tall, standard, phantom (super light weight)). i did the phantom wide on mine. i can't compare it to stock i literally never rode it stock, but i had no complaints on it so it must have been OK lol
red bud got me again. went down in my first practice friday.. possibly broke something in my hand. i rode it out, rolled things for a few laps and then hit a few things... went out for my last 2 sessions, was only able to ride like 70%. Decided saturday morning it would be best to not...
dang, lots going on all weekend. would probably be a blast. might have to try to do it.
i was eyeing up big hill jam at CGI in SC that was this past weekend, I was close to pulling the trigger on that event but my other half decided she needed to get surgery on her hand friday instead.. unreal...
out this year, hopefully next year i will have a vintage bike! i planned to sell my modern YZ 125 to pickup a KX project, and just haven't been able to convince myself to sell it lol.
a few off hand i know, jordan weber, micah grubbs, phil harris, ashley harris, nathan blackford, jp kish, kadin tvergyak
im sure lots more from our area heading down, good luck to all!
as a mini dad now.. yeah.. the pit bike / mini bike s**t is out of control on these little tracks.
tracks need to be clear whats allowed/not allowed on the mini track. if they want to allow kids and pit bikes, that's fine, im not saying they should stay home... but split them up into groups...
pretty sure this is amateur sx. i dont need to feel like im lining up at a1, i have no problem with it being during the day. i havent rode in 7 weeks now, but as soon as I am back into it, I plan to hit one for sure!!
being at night will probably LOSE some. plenty of guys dont want to ride at...
i've done a few motos at malvern on the stark (if you want to see the slow lines - )
the bikes are super easy to jump on and go. I struggled with the transition BACK to my 450 after.. took me a few sessions to get used to.. but jumping on the stark i was up to speed mostly in a few laps.
80hp...
i did just see govx discount which is discount for military, medical, first responder etc if you have anyone in your fam that qualifies have them sign up and get your tickets. it saves like $10 a ticket i think, better than nothing.
ugh. thats a leap down there for sure. i always hate when i see a giant berm facing another part of the track or something.. in my head im always looking at stufff thinking what can go wrong (probably why i dont ride very fast lol) and stuff like that always seems like an accident waiting to...
i can see both sides to this. im bummed to hear he is backing the lawsuit.. hopefully the track had good insurance that covered a lot of that settlement and that it didnt financially impact them too bad.
shame on the track though if that section is really that sketchy and they ignored it for so...
im sure someoen has but i aint got time to play internet detective.
either all true or hes following legal advice which I would bet at the time would be to keep his mouth shut
hopefully it comes out that its false and he sues cooksey's dumb ass for deformation
i stopped watching it at "I might have some facts wrong".. that guys an idiot.
im sure theres some truths to it and others not. ive seen that he didnt ride for him, I've heard it was a different track alltogether, etc and with lawsuits and stuff, who knows. it could have been their...
