Yep, same area cramped up on me. I had easily ridden 3-4 times longer on Friday than Saturday with no cramping, think that was too much for the day before the race where I usually just ride post vintage rather than both post and vintage.

If you factor in other stuff besides smell, I'd never pick 927...it's the one and only oil over the course of 40 some years that ever gummed up my rings to the point that the engine didn't have enough compression to start. And that happened after less than a half dozen rides on a new top end...

Yep where RT2 airport highway and the turnpike intersect. Not to be confused with Delta MX which is a bit further west and can also be seen from the turnpike.

Haha, no I've alwasy been pretty mediocre and my approach has always been to get a good start and then try not to work my ways back. Now, I just don't try quite as hard to not work my ways backward. :)
