napa had this thread repair epoxy that was good for 600lbs of torque,i used it on the water pump cover on my 98 cr250 with no problems

i just checked on motosport oulets website on oem parts and the list the same part num. for the 96& 97 yz and wr 250!! the bikes are virtually identical aside from different tuning!!!!
