    Giant helicopter over my head.

I'm quite intrigued with the copter footage. i kinda want one now!! Those have GOT to be the COOLEST vids I've ever seen! Whoever put them together really should be in biz. I've seen some remote helicopters, but not as big as the one described. It can't be any more dangerous than say.... getting...

    Giant helicopter over my head.

I know everybody is pissed off about the 'copter flying close to the riders, but I can't kid ya--- the thing sounds really cool, and that video from Beans is amazing to say the least. Maybe somebody that knows how to fly one of those things should start a biz where you pay them to follow you...

Modding a pw50 for an adult?

Hlebo Bros suspension. I wouldn't bother with the 150R setup unless you want coolness. I'd bet that if you did the revalve for $200 (I'd keep the stock rear spring), and .40- .42 straight rate Cannon springs with the Hlebo damping rod mod, you'd love it. Like I said-- these mods have got me over...

Modding a pw50 for an adult?

Bill-- mot sure how much you weigh, but I race my 150F in the pit bike races, and all I did was send my stock shock to John Hlebo. He revalves it, and puts a schrader valve on it to charge it. Once it's done-- it works really well believe it or not. I'd love to do something better with the...

A CRF80 only has one wheel size-- 14/16 inch. --L*64

Modding a pw50 for an adult?

hahaha! I told ya! If I were you-- I'd grab a stock KLX, or grab a bigger bike like a KLX140, or a CRF150F. Both great play (pit) bikes, but IMO, the 150F is easier, and cheaper to go with. You can run the stock pipe with the baffle pulled, and Hlebo can mod the stock suspension to take any...

Modding a pw50 for an adult?

Go get a regular pit bike.... I've ridden a PW50 before, and aside from it being barely able to even go with me on it-- the chassis won't hold up to an adult riding it. It may have been fun for 5 minutes, but you'd be done with it in 20 minutes, and ready to get a regular play(pit) bike. --L*64

Alibaba IPO? Anybody get in on it?

I was about three days late trying to place my order (at the IPO price anyway). Were any of y'all able to get anything? I may be able to get something next week if the stock does well, but it will likely be above $80, and likely $85 if it gets there. I imagine it will in the next month or so if...

Saying goodbye to my favorite motocrosser of all time...RIP 754

Very sad to hear. Something similar happened to a high school bud of mine. He passed away at 40 I believe, with a wife and a couple kids. Wish there was something else I could say. Very sorry for your loss. --L*64

Whats the most expensive bike you have ever seen?

I got a close up view of a $10K BBR pit bike at Smith Rd. on Labor Day when a fellow crashed right in front of me on a blind downhill leaving me nowhere to go. I ended up hitting the rider and running over the bike. From what I could tell, it had every option short of the 4V head including the...

Saying goodbye to my favorite motocrosser of all time...RIP 754

Didn't know him but I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I'm without either of my parents. I lost my dad at 62, and my mom at 65. What happened to him if you don't mind me asking? He was OK a few weeks ago when he came to visit? From the pics you posted-- it looks like he'd have man-handled a...

    Best Pitbike for tooling around?

Wow! That Mr. Fiddy is beautiful! Is it a restore or original? Is that a rear tire on the front? You're question is subject to price. Not sure how much ya wanna spend on your pit bike. If price isn't an option, and ya want it street legal, get a Honda Grom. If you want to ride it as a dirt...

    OEM paint codes?

IMO-- which doesn't mean a ton b/c I don't know too much about paint, the type of paint is important b/c some paints won't stand up to gas, chemicals, etc... as well as the stock paint. That's why I'd like to know if the code is just to get the right color, or if it's to get the right color AND...

    OEM paint codes?

I think we've talked about this before, but how do you find OEM color codes for a perfect OEM paint match? Does the code just match the color, or would it be the exact stock paint match? I've talked to people about painting frames, and they've asked me things I have no idea about, like... "Do...

    Favorite Dirtbike you've ever owned?

Damn, my '95 KX125 was the WORST bike I ever owned. It was so slow, we kept thinking something was wrong with the power valve. You didn't happen to buy mine did ya? My favorite bike was my '97 YZ125. The motor was great, and it was a super handler. I loved that bike. I'd prolly still own it if...

Check out this vid from Marty Tripes 100cc Works Revenge race.

Ya. I tend to want a bike that I'd have wanted when I was a kid, but didn't get. I used to watch MX on the Wide World of Sports when it was on. It never occurred to me that I'd actually want to ride myself until around 1983 when a Suzuki dealership moved to my area. I used to go in there and sit...
