This '83 RM250 fell into my lap Tuesday. It seems there's always a story with vintage bikes and this one is no exception. I was at Kame's on my lunch hour when an old friend and great wrench Sam Shahan strolled in. Turns out he had this old bike in his garage for the last 6 months or so that a...
Word is that the bike just shut off while attempting a double jump. Surgery is at 11 this morning and like Mike said he has good resources at Grant so hopefully they can bring Todd a miracle.
I've been talking to his girlfriend Jordan, he is at Grant Hospital in Columbus where he will undergo surgery tomorrow. Todd helped me with some classes last year and is a great kid. Prayers sent to him and his loved ones.
Wow Mike!! That is beautiful! My issue is that I want a race bike, not a garage queen. Even if that bike I posted above was in my budget I probably still wouldn't buy it because I'd want to race it.
My friend Ed Vacha got this little gem. I helped him unload it from his truck and it's even better than the pictures showed. Ed is probably still drooling over it as I type this. Thanks for the tip John, you made my friends year with this one!
My friend has been looking for a clean 79 for a long time. He was able to get ahold of the owner and set up a time to look at it. Hopefully it all works for him and if so we will have another vintage racer to join us!
Right, and he has no medical back round whatsoever. Isn't this why we have the CDC in the first place? Where's the surgeon general? Oh sorry, he's out confiscating your guns.
I had a blast racing those kids, but just cant see well at night. Family obligations kept me from Sundays day race but I'm really happy to see this class pick up some momentum!
Georgie, I just picked this up yesterday;) Didn't mean to hijack the thread, I'm sure I'll have another Italian bike like a TM in my garage at some point.
