The track was pretty awesome. I love that they have two tracks it allowed them to keep the track in great shape all day and still get done early.
Had an awesome battle both motos in 25+ with georgieporgie (at least I think it was him). That was the most fun I have had racing in a while even...
I had mixed feelings about the place. It was definitely rough and had some sketchy rutted jumps with kickers. But then by Sunday i either got used to it or it was a heck of a lot better. I will say those helmet cams do not come close to capturing how rough the track really was.
One thing I...
Looks like it turned out nicely! Great work on the track. All I could say is I wish there were more updates about how the place was looking last night and this morning. I completely chickened out today though haha
Look how many people from Ohio have ridden the C class at Lorettas in the last few years. You may see one or two. Who won B at Lorettas last year? Oh yeah, Plessinger. That dude is going to be racing motocross for a career. I use to be one of you guys saying people shouldn't sandbag C but, at...
Early in the winter I bought a 2003 Rm 125 blown up. The plan was to do a 144 but the tranny ended up being shot on it so that took my 144 money so it is just a 125 but this is my winter project.
Jeff Gibson almost passed him on the last lap. Granted a lapper slowed him down but never the less I don't think it is fair to say he would have won no matter where he started. Jeff doesn't get ran down from behind and passed very often I wouldn't think.
The safest thing for him to do was get on the brakes lol I can't believe anyone would see that any differently. I am sure ams and their crew were "too busy and didn't see it" that is usually how it goes with them. It is over now I doubt he is gonna send his money he won back.
Here are screen shots from my phone of the video. If you think he lost three spots doing that you are crazy. Thats just like AMS to let someone get away with stuff like that anyways. Cutting the track is cutting the track no matter the reason.
I just did a rebuild on a 96 over last winter. Mine has a 94 Motor and 1996 everything else. The 95-96 is for sure the frame you want. 94 and Older had a issue with them Stretching so they did a little different weld to 95-96 to make them stronger. Surprisingly it was pretty easy to find parts...
The track layout was cool and the woods were great, but wow, I couldn't even believe how bad the mx part of
The track was. Watering the hard packed dusty track the entire 45 minutes was a treat. That will be my last time at crow canyon for sure.
So you're telling me Enduros and GNCC's aren't races because that is all woods and no one can see you? That is your own personal choice to go slow through the woods because you are tired. I can tell you this, at Battle for Ohio I pulled off in the Pro class about mid way through my 6th lap...
Like I said on Facebook, I just don't know how to convince people that this isn't some gnarly hare scramble that is going to destroy your bike. I left Briarcliff with less mud on my bike than I do on a good mx practice day at the cliff. My Dad always had me trail riding and doing occasional...
