    Indoor MX options?

I might make that trip once... It is 3.5 hours away. I was hoping for something near Central or Southern Ohio but it is, what it is. What is the area like? Safe to bring a truck and toy hauler without fear of break ins, or should I just bring my bike in the back of the truck?

    Indoor MX options?

I can ride MX fine. It's just not usually what I choose to ride. I'm a woods guy typically but even with studded tires, I don't want to ride when its 3 degrees. 20-30 degrees, I can deal with.

    Indoor MX options?

Hey all, I am finally going to break down and go somewhere to ride indoors. Not being a big MXer, I am not sure where all the indoor tracks are. Can anyone help? I know of Earlywines and have heard of one down by Athens but that's about all I know.

Ohio MX Tracks with Electric Hookups...

I bought a Champion Power Systems Inverter Generator and its sweet so far. About 7-800 bucks and its comparable to the Honda 3000. Very quiet and runs everything in my toy hauler, AC included. Only thing it won't do is the AC and the Microwave at once.

    2018 Local Moto Changes

I can vouch for CK. I reached out to him this spring, having never met him or even talked to him on here for some help and he took his time and drove to my place to offer assistance and opinions. The reason I asked him instead of any number of others on here is if he says something sucks, he...

    2018 Local Moto Changes

42,500 x 4 years = 170,000 His rough mental math isn't too far off.... That's a lot of scratch made in membership fees. I haven't been to an OMA banquet and likely will not but the series I ride has a $15 membership fee and we have a killer banquet at a nice hotel/convention center and awards...

Anyone here ever lowered an MX bike before?

I'll get you a photo tonight. The XCW is the same engine as the SX but has a different ignition and a heavier flywheel. It also has electric start! It is a super fun bike.

Anyone here ever lowered an MX bike before?

I have a 150XCW that is lowered just over 1". My wife rides it and is 5' 2". Jamie Reed from JRP suspension in Covington OH can do it for you and is very reasonable on price. IM me if you would like his contact info. As far as the other things like shaving seats and stuff, I know people who...

    Buckeye Hills Uphill Start

I am not 100% sure but I thought I just saw on FB that Buckeye Hills is postponing/cancelling for the weekend due to the impending weather. Someone may want to confirm and report back.

    Contingency Racing?

I have received KTM contingency a couple times in the past. The way that program worked for me was I signed up on their website, and when the funds were available it gave me a code that I could redeem at my KTM dealer. I would just go in, grab an armload of parts and tell them my code. They...

    Leftover bikes

on my 2017 KTM, I run 55:1 or so and have the V Force and mine is pretty crisp. Just a little fat on the bottom but I have it that way by choice.

    What's your favorite tire combo?

Kenda Washougal Rear with a Millville Front has been working really well for me in our soil. If it is going to be more hardpacked, I will use a Kenda Triple rear and Washougal front.

    Treaty = A for effort

Thanks for the kind words CK1. I have tried hard to relay a lot of the concerns from people on here and elsewhere to the club and work on improving things. Unfortunately we won't please everyone. I am really sorry John isn't willing to look past something that happened god knows how many years...

    Pipe repair

Yeah. I am willing to help guys out. IM me on here and if I will be around TCMC or can be met near WPAFB in Dayton through the week I'll be glad to help. I can fix dents pretty easily.. If the pipe is really bent, I can improve it but haven't yet perfected that art.

    Pipe repair

Bummer. I work in Dayton and could have grabbed it from you and fixed it overnight. Or I could have made you a deal that if you came to Treaty, I would have fixed it at the track for free.

    What class for my son?

That is a conundrum in our sport and has been for a long time. For a casual riding family that will buy a kid a "fun" bike that they can ride anytime, there isn't much in the way of classes to race. A lot of my friends ride in the woods and buy their kids the same bike or similar that you have...
