    OXCR hare scramble

Hmm... Any details on the course? Mileage? Will it incorporate any of the MX track?

    Knee Brace Opinion

CTi. Either Custom or their OTS model. They are a little more expensive but have a long track record of success..

Transitioning back to the 4 stroke

I'm with ya on the 2 stroke love... I really wanted to try a 250XCF this year but just couldn't get myself comfortable with the fact that I would only have the 4t, so I bought a 250XC 2t. Maybe, if I can sweet talk the wife a little, I can pick up a 4t to match it after this race season and...

Transitioning back to the 4 stroke

I have been a two stroke rider for my whole racing life (20 years) and when I do ride a 4t I have found that I can't chop the throttle and freewheel. The solution I have found is to never fully chop the throttle. When you go into a turn, you will have to retrain your wrist to leave it cracked...

    Indianapolis race

Seems like back in the day when I actually went to the events, Indy was always around Valentines Day. I would go then since there wasn't much going on. Now with it in March, I am likely out riding somewhere.

Where are the racers? At the GNCCs

On topic though, I used to race a lot of GNCCs back in the late 90's and early 2000's. This is when they were more like the Enduro's I raced. As they became more open and more like 3 hour Moto races, I quit going. I sometimes think of going and riding one and giving them another shot. You...

Where are the racers? At the GNCCs

I disagree with this. I OWN two 2017 KTMs. One XC and one XCW and the AER fork is outstanding. I have just over 20 hours on my 250XC and it has done nothing but get better. The first 10 hours was frustrating to find the pressure and clicker settings I like but its good now.... I have also...

    The return... With a twist.

Nice. I loved my '05 KX. Best 250 I've ever owned. I have to disagree about the comparison to the YZ though. I had an 08 YZ and it was a good bike but I think my KX was still better.

    The return... With a twist.

Having been a Kaw rider from the time I started racing until after I turned A, this project is AWESOME to me. Personally I would powder the frame Flo Green. I would also look for a handbuilt cone pipe or one of those new faux "cone" pipes that are out now. Black wheels, all Flo green plastic and...

    Hookit Sponsorship Program

I have had a lot more luck going straight to the companies. I am an A rider and am not sure if that helps or not. I do have two deals through hookit that are decent though.

    No more mudders?

Having always been a woods guy, I would usually only show up for MX races if they WERE going to be muddy. I always looked forward to the muddy mess that kenworthy's grass race was. Having my bike set up for the woods meant it was too soft for all the big jumps so it leveled the playing field...

    Bar Risers

If you are using the stock triple clamps, I like the PHDS handlebar mounts. They raise the bars a little and also come with risers to lift them even more if you like. They are a bit pricey but the amount of shock and vibration they take out made it worth it for me.

    So.......What is the problem. Money????

We were talking about this exact thing this week after having to reschedule our race at Treaty City this past weekend.

    Long time lurker here.

Bummer about the travel. The family enduro is something I encourage all the MX guys to come check out. The trail will be tight in some places but is totally doable without any bark busters or special equipment. It's a great day of trail riding for those guys who don't want to take on a full...

Thanks for all the replies so far. The MX track committee has been talking a lot while prepping for this last weekend's event and we have a lot of great ideas to move forward. I think with the input from you guys (the riders) and the current crop of members that are investing their time into the...

Thanks for the reply weasel. You'll be happy to hear that Burke is a member now and we have him on board with the MX chairman Josh Plessinger to make changes. A lot has been done this year and a lot more is planned. Our recent board meeting had a lot of discussion on the future of racing at...

    Long time lurker here.

Thanks for all the replies guys. We have our final MX of the year coming up and we have some things in the works for next year. I know we can't always hit the mark but we are going to keep at it. The club has been around for a long time promoting motorcycling and motorcycle racing and we are...

    Long time lurker here.

Hi all, I have been a member on here for some time and only recently have been reading and following things on here. My name is Jeremy Pelaston, and I am the current Vice-President at TCMC. I have been involved with the club since around 1999-2000. I am aware of the reputation the club has...
