Yeah I took it to the doctors put it on, and right where the break is is where it sits. I'm of the 5% who has a break thats not in the middle. But just like youve said before stacy, if i didnt have it on instead of my collerbone it coulda been my neck

Which reminds me, we all believe it was the leatt brace that caused this. The break is so far in towards my neck, which is rare, most breaks occur more in the middle.. where my break is is where the brace sits. But who knows maybe I would have been more hurt with out the brace.

I'm sorry you must have miss understood me? A titainium screw does require surgery, its an alternative to a plate and screws. It's basically the new good way of fixing collerbones but not to many surgeons do it yet. I'll have to post a picture of my before and after breaks. Because my break...

If you go to a good surgeon you don't need a plate and screws. Only one doctor in Ohio would touch me with a rod instead of a plate... And was your crash on the second double?

Well I'm offically done for the summer, and no indoors for the winter. Kind of a late post but about three weeks ago I hit a kicker at apple cabin on the second double and I shattered my collerbone, tore my acl, bruised my ribs and spine, and had a concussion. One surgery down, two more to go...
