Thanks, i did the best i could for everyone. Would be nice if it could happen again, for all Ohio racing. I just think the costs are too prohibitive to overcome. Somehow, in the excitement over the first one, I gave them all away without saving one. Pretty sure I have all but that one.

Only time I had an immediate repeat flat was when I removed one obvious foreign object that was sticking out, and found another one on the inside that wasn't showing. Sometimes have to draw blood to finish the job.

I have Pro Tapers on my KTM, think they're the biggest ones I've ever had. I like them a lot, makes them easy to find and enough support if you miss a little when you bring your foot up.

FCR has always had heavier springs for me (and I needed them), and they have a TON of them sitting on the shelf, would think they'd be able to help. Not sure how heavy I used, but it was over .50

New Jersey doesn't require titles on dirt bikes, but will issue one on request with MSO and paying taxes (of course).

Yamaha MX400B. Dad said I was too big for a 125, we were looking for a 250, and stumbled onto this 400. I really liked the bike, but it would wear me out in 2.5 laps. Holeshot my first race on it, but crashed and got run over in the 2nd turn.

Especially not at 15 and 150 lbs.

I remember the first 2, maybe three. Wore a couple of each out planning out my Elsinore (which I never was able to get, Dad said I was too big for a 125) and ended up on a 400 in '77, ending the need for hop-up catalogs. GREAT memories for sure!!!

I have one that I was restoring as a racer, but haven't finished. I have some problems at home that are probably going to make me put it up for sale. It's a little far along for a parts bike, but has a lot of good stuff on it already. If anyone wants details, pm me and will fill you in.

Thanks for the input everyone. Had a chance to ride the other day, so I picked up a pair of SG10s at the KTM dealer I work with. They even gave me a good price without asking for a deal. The ride was rained out, can't wait to try them out.
