    Which boots are better?

I think the ones from '07 are Pro Formas, the F3 came out a little after (I think). They usually have the name on the velcro tab at the top. My Pro Formas did and F3s now do. If they don't, they are likely the entry level boot, which are good, but no where near the level of F3/Tech 8/SG10. Fox...

    Which boots are better?

If the Fox boots are F3s or the previous pro level boot, I've always liked them. My kid had Astars and said the Fox boots were as good feeling, and better in some regards. I don't have a first hand opinion, I've always had Fox or Gaerne. I've not had really good luck selling boots on eBay, as...

    Tacoma...

I had an '07 Access cab 4x4 V6, got 21-23 mpg on the highway, depending on what I was carrying (bike or not), and whether or not the a/c was on. Might drop to 20 with both. I hear that the 4cyl./5-speed isn't much better because the heavier truck and less power. I have a double-cab longbed V6...

    Montesa with a twist

Spotted one just like that at an ACR event at Englishtown last week, except with a black tank. The same pit had a Honda 100 motor in a Husky 125 frame too.

    Does anybody know this guy?

If the pic was there, I could confirm it, but by description, I'd say Gary Giffen, lives near Medina or Wadsworth, #9 on his bikes, 2-Stroke Kawasaki and I think a 4-stroke Yamaha. Rides Senior 2 and Super Senior. Joc could tell you alot about him, if that's who it is.

Where were you today 10 years ago?

I was in recurrent flight training in Atlanta, was in the simulator when the first building came down. Walked out on break, and heard the news from another person in our class, and got to a TV in time to see the second tower fall. I couldn't believe what I was seeing... Who would have ever...

    Truck bed set up

There used to be a Linex dealer around there somewhere, their kid raced CRA. As far as bed extender, I use ReadyRamp. Comes in 2 sizes to fit compact/midsize, and Full-size trucks. Folds out and becomes a long loading ramp, then the ends fold in to be the bed extender. Check eBay for them...

    Thank You!

I liked her story on Facebook about "Gimp Kid" getting the call to take her meds, and having only one hand and a child-proof cap. Been laughing for a couple days now. Still holding good thoughts for her recovery.

    CR 125 Elisnore

Wow, way over what I've seen any listed for. I'm sure condition played into it, but they aren't real sought after for collecting or racing, like MaicoMark said.

1st run on a new rebuild done by a 15 year old.

Kudos to him for the ambition, and to you for letting him!! I'm scared silly to look inside mine, since the advent of the 4-stroke.

Smith Rd Raceway Equipement Auction Sept 10

I think I remember it being a 10 ft. tiller (auction listing info) and think it did 6 inches deep. Worked well there, might make it too fine ( and therefore, dusty) at others.

    How Much is Too Much

Don't look at the receipts. I have "too much" in both of my old bikes, and they aren't done. Long as you are happy at the end and aren't too worried about getting it all back, it's good. IMHO

    pics

It takes a good camera with fast shutter to get good action shots. If you have one, or get one, then follow the bike as it hits the jump and click it when it reaches the point you want the picture to be at. If you are using a point and shoot, or a cellphone camera, all you can do is practice...

What Do You Hate About Your Bike?

The only thing I hate is that it has to sit in the garage, calling my name, whispering "I'm ready, where are you?". I'm not too hard on machines, so my worries about failures are minimal, I do the maintenance to keep it that way, and alot of the time, a day sitting in the garage spinning...

    PYMA (pixs) 8/20/11

Rich caught part of the holeshot I got in my first Moto (first start in 2+ years), where it looks like I'm going into the corner with a guy just cutting in front of me. Funny story- I get back to Joc's trailer and he says, "Great holeshot you got. You were right out there, then musta realized...

"Dumbest Stuff on Wheels" on SPEED

I'm a big sissy about watching those things, all the ones that hurt (or are gonna hurt) make me cringe. But I'm sure I will watch it again, crazy stuff on there!
