I have applied but have not heard back. Hopefully I get approved!

Last time I went tickets cost me $38 and I was 4th row.. To be honest that's to close, for me anyway. I'll get some cheaper seats.. My main goal is to be able to get some nice pictures.

Prices sure have gone up since the last time I went to a race [1998]. Decent seats at Indy are pushing $125/150 o_O

I wasn't 100% comfortable going to far out on the track as a photographer. I don't like it when I have to worry about bikes/atv's coming from multiple directions. I ALWAYS have my head on a swivel when out on the track.

What camera did you get? I shot indoors this weekend for the first time in almost 20 years :) [Summit Indoor MX]. I thought about bring a flash next time myself.

I was able to make it out Friday night, full house for sure. I really enjoyed my time. Looking forward to Rd 2 in February! Here are a few pictures I took while at the event!

Perfect day today at Briarcliff MX... Makes me want to put the camera away and buy a bike again! :) I'll post some pictures over the next few days.

Anyone make it out to the race this weekend? I had a great time and saw some amazing bikes. I think the CR500/CR250's were my personal favorites. I ran into a friend who was on a 93 CR250, McGrath won a lot of races on that bike back in the day. I'll get some images up soonish...
