Why did they stop running it?? I heard a rumor years ago that the EPA shut it down, but didnt ever find out any truth to it or not. I had never seen it personally, but I have seen alot of videos about it and they all consisted of that river hill climb. lol

I think the same track lay out is because of all the new soil they have been putting down. They have the new soil on that section of track, and may or may not change the layout untill more new soil is brought in to hold moisture. This is just my oppinion and not a source from Smith road.

Sometimes all it takes is a few dedicated riders to run around the track to beat it down. Sometimes the track will turn out fine. Sometimes thats all the track needs. Sometimes they are just trying to get you out to their track.

the question that isnt asked but should be is.... Do you break in your motors properly?? A fresh rebuilt 4 stroke motor needs to allow the parts to seat properly. You should never just rip on a freshly rebuilt 4 stroke unless you plan on rebuilding it after a couple of hours. I have run 4...

Just to clear up a few things... Smith road will be running CRA style classes. Smith road IS NOT a CRA track. Also there will be no camping for memorial day ONLY, as smith road could not get the permits in time for the first race. Camping may be avaible during the next race.
