Can you tell me what is wrong with this picture... Funny!

That's the Yamaha GYT-R addition with the lefty throttle and pipe. They are trying to distract buyers from the fact that they still run a carburetor.

OMA Grand Prix thoughts and ideas

Make some wide grass track sections with off cambers or flat sweepers that will form multiple lines and get braking/acceleration bumps. Leave out the creek crossing/mud hole sections. Most off road guys don't love mud even if they are good at it. Other than that its like a long safe MX track...

    Battle Series by the numbers...

So pro bike and quad riders show up for big purse events and per moto payout? Maybe add 250A to more select events? Fun to watch for sure. Does the increased spectator turnout pay for the pro purse? How many pros need to show up to make it worth putting up $4000? I know it can't be done all the...

Battle For Ohio Finale - BriarCliff MX - Race Report

There were some great racing this weekend to watch in several of the classes. The Pro Motos had the fences line with spectators. All of those guys were hauling the mail! The viewing area in the infield was a good place to see most of the track. I also thought the ride-up podium setup was a nice...

    Random thought

The benefits of aerating your yard with a 450 can be seen with less soil compaction, better water absorbtion, and higher oxygen flow to the root system...:)

    Kawasaki Grips

That is crazy but impressive. My grips would fly off if I tried that.

    Kawasaki Grips

Pro Taper Grip Glue is the best. Don't mess around, just put the grip into position and it stays. Been using for two years, no issues.

    AMSOIL Arenacross 2014

That Columbus round will be great! HUGE turn out with the OHIO Moto Heads. Oh wait...what? Never mind. Is there a good TV package?

    Tire size for a 450?

I ran both on my 450, I always felt like the 110 did better in corner ruts and deep ruts because it was not trying to climb out of the rut and it breaks loose easier when squaring off corners if that's your riding style. Just my theory though.

Thank you Fly Racing, PitRacer, & BC MX

A wanted to say a big THANK YOU to PitRacer and Briarcliff MX for putting on the Ride Day. I was pumped to ride at BC for $10 and lucky enough to win a set of Fly Racing Gear in the drawing. Matt Feasel from FLY/WPS was very generous and let me pick out a set of gear from the 2014 Catalog. I...

    My Proposal for OMA Classes

Supply and demand. There are a lot of races left this year to build the data. Numbers will tell the story, buy a membership and fill a gate. Fair and simple.

Chillitown Battle for Ohio Round II July 13-14th

Sitting at McDonald's in Chillicothe, just heard Chillytown MX spot on radio. Moto marketing, I like it!

Here we go again... Where are Ohio riders?

I graduated from College and yes student loans are are a HUGE burden, but many companies require higher education just to get an interview. The cost of school does bring an end to new bikes and gear for a few years when tough decisions need to be made in the first year or two after graduation...

    New Yamaha's

Haha I did go to the Yamaha website and look for the 2014 GYTR model YZ250. It wasn't a total waste of time, I found out that Yamaha offers a GYTR gripper cover and seat bump. 2004 here I come!

Here we go again... Where are Ohio riders?

The GP Race Day schedule is the awesome, but I always find myself wishing on was on the motocross track section of the GP track instead of running 5th gear through flat fields. Back to the subject of this thread, it's true, we need to support moto in Ohio by attending races. A stronger/larger...

Here we go again... Where are Ohio riders?

Economy is a real thing and plays a part as do injuries. But I do think its true that the average number of people who normally ride is down. In my personal group of friends, no one wants to admit it, but the jumps and technical sections have crept out of the comfort zone. Or maybe that's me...
