Has anyone ever used a Nikon D5100? Looking to upgrade from my d40 and it seemed like a decent camera, maybe slightly better than the D90? I like the D7000 a little more, but I'm not sure if I want to spend that much yet.

Although I have never met Davey, I can rember seeing him ride quite a bit at local races while I was growing up. Always seemed to be a super nice guy as you passed him in the pits. From one injured rider to another, get well soon!

I think I would have to agree with what #23 said above. I'd love to see it happen, but I think it would be tough. You can't stay open all year round like tracks in Florida or Georgia. I'd love to have more options closer to home though! Count me in!

I just picked up a used one late last summer. Kept my eyes open for one for about a year before finding one up in New York near Rochester. Its a 2004 Service Honda (2002 CR250 frame). Went through the whole bike this winter, cant wait to ride it more this summer!

I just got the $290 version a few days ago. I believe the only difference is the material the brace is made from. The more expensive brace is mostly carbon fiber, and the cheaper one is made of reinforced polyurethane. Havent had the chance to wear it yet.

The course seems pretty intense! I guess I was surprised at how long it was, definitely had some cool transitions.

I currently have a d40 with a 18-200VR lens and it really is a nice setup for the money. You can take some amazing pictures even though its a lower megapixel camera. The d90 is a much better body, but that comes with a price. I would say if its your first DSLR I would try to pick up a used...
