D11 50+ class up for proposal

I raced against 14 50 plus riders at clearfork harescramble this summer.. there are more 50plus riders out there than you think. I would have raced briarcliff if they had 50 plus. but really I had no bussiness racing 40 support with the Jon Agins of the world coming around doing triples when I...

    Favorite local rider.....

I have always been a Fred Andrews fan. one time along time ago I was standing next to the fence at Mid-ohio during a state championship. I was watching Joel Andrews make his way through traffic. I said outloud but speaking to nobody how fast Joel was going. this kid overheard and asked what I...

    Who rides the national forests?

I always put mine on pvc pipe. if you can picture it. I cut a pipe in half so it is only C shaped and about 4 inches tall. put my sticker on it. then when I go to wayne I just snap the pvc pipe over the forks between the triple clamps and put a zip tie around it. I have done this for years works...

    District 11 Proposals for 2011

http://www.tracksideresults.com/americanmx/class.asp?s=&c=all&e=250 here is a link to the AMS first race this season. It looks like around 175 total entries. but over half of those riders rode more than 1 class. so I doubt you had many more than a hundred riders. and I counted at least 40...

    District 11 Proposals for 2011

John I agree with most of what you are saying..I raced district 11 a lot back in the 80s (as I am sure you did) and it has always been the case of who ever raced the most won the district. rarely the fastest..I really don't think very many racers chase points. I know when my son raced most of...

    District 11 Proposals for 2011

it is crazy to think district 11's problems are due to AMS... it seems to me more of the blame would go to the fact that most riders/racers would rather just practice.. take a place like Briarcliff. best track prep, much cheaper than racing, ride all you want,etc.. I mean really the biggest turn...
