Briarcliff Minimoto Mayhem II-- ride report.

Mooch, I was just saying that pitbike racing started out on 10" wheeled 50cc machines. I do believe that racing a 110 is a "real" pitbike too. The wheels are only 2 inches bigger on a 110cc. ....."being all scrunched up on 110's and banging their knees on the bars with the smaller...

Briarcliff Minimoto Mayhem II-- ride report.

yes, Vegas has the "bigger bike" class. you know what other type of bike is in that class? the electric bikes! yep, battery powered bikes racing against big wheeled TRAIL bikes. that class is a joke. my point is that those couches, called trail bikes, are NOT pitbikes. You can simply order your...

Briarcliff Minimoto Mayhem II-- ride report.

More and more places that have pitbike races now have a class for the TTR's and CRF's and usually have us older guys on them. The big reason is because they aren't really pitbikes and they are easier to ride than a pitbike. 14" front and 12" rear max for pitbikes. I totally understand the niche...

    Monster energy cup

if someone on Pitracer said there is a rumor, I wouldn't believe it as much as I would coming from a writer for RacerX. Those guys have their fingers on the very pulse of American motocross. They have contacts around the globe. There are alot of rumors out there, true...but that doesn't even...

    Monster energy cup

http://www.racerxonline.com/2011/09/23/racerhead-38 the whole article is good. but right under the pic of Stewi's face it mentions RD in Austria

    Monster energy cup

Hansen is a good pick. The 3 main events are only 10 laps long with NO whoops and NO triples....gonna be unique! Evryone at that level can haul tail for 10 laps...especially without whoops.

    Monster energy cup

I don't think there has been an official press release about RD to KTM. But on racerxonline, "they" mentioned he is in Austria testing right now. Why would he want to hurry along or cut short his testing to come to the Monster Cup? He is smart by not doin it I think. There is lots more money to...

    Best dirt

I ALWAYS liked Kenworthy's dirt. The track was on a farm next to a river. I have never in my life seen taller corn or darker motocross dirt! The national there was always in late July so the corn was thriving at that point. They would soak it with water the night before and soak it again in the...

    It's official

RD5- Please do NOT ride a KTM next year. Please pick any Japanese manufacturer or I will be forced to not cheer for you as hard as I used to. And i will also have to re-brainwash my 4yr old daughter to make her cheer less for you as well. Jay

some stuff you didnt see on the southwick tv mayhem. (dungey)

If we are going to use the term "mechanical issue" (thrown chain, boil/ran out of gas and bike won't start) I think it should be worded as this: "Dungey could not have done anything different/better to prevent those 'mechanical issues'."

some stuff you didnt see on the southwick tv mayhem. (dungey)

It's hard to defend Suzuki for whats happened this year BUT, IMO, I just can't see the KTM as the machine to carry RD5 to a championship against RV2 and the rest of the factory Teams. Would love to see RD5 on a Honda.

some stuff you didnt see on the southwick tv mayhem. (dungey)

He's a bad dude...period. Thrown chain last season in SX, ran outta gas in Texas and now this. I am a Suzuki/Carmichael man 1st and foremost. RC showed RD5 the way. Thats why I like Dungey. He's part G.O.A.T. . But the bad luck Suzuki has had makes me more a Dungey fan now than ever. He could...

    OIR Pro Day results?

I heard there were 30 riders signed up for a shot at the cash. I didn't go but want to hear who took the cash. Top 5 anyone?

    Barcia Little too RISKA

He might get Dungey next week. Then he's racing in the 250F class again next year. Then the 450's after that. So, I don't think he will be beating Dungey on a CONSISTENT basis in 2 years.

    "Amatuer" Nationals

On a more serious note, i fall into this category as well. I have had my pro license since 1992. That year I qualified for the 125 national at Kenworthy's. After that I went to college and played football for 4 years. During that period I didn't hardly ride becasue I was afraid of injury and a...

How a LL title was lost 30+ b/c 1-1-dnf video

That sounds sketchy as all hell. The two lines almost connect on that tabletop. I think if either rider were aware like you say you were, then that wreck could have been avoided.
