    NC tracks to ride

West Craven is good and has hook ups and you can ride at JWTF also. West Craven just made updates to the big track. NCMP is also really good as TwentyThreeMX said. 7 days a week at all 3 of these tracks.

    Southern Tracks

Westcraven is open 7 days a week rain or shine. Camping yes, Showers no. Eastbend is OK, they run sessions, so expect 15 minutes of riding a small track and 45 minutes or more of waiting around. North Carolina Motosports park is awesome. Open 7 days a week also. Weather can be a factor...

    108 MOTOS

I was curious about this as well. Glad the question was asked and glad it was cleared up. I didn't take the question as a shot against Dax.

    22 YZ125

There is no question the Yamaha's handle amazing. There is also no question about Japanese build quality. The fasteners on the KTM are junk. After removing bolts a few times, the paint is warn and they start to oxidize. Engines? No question the current KTM engine is leaps and bounds over...

    Practice vs Racing

I agree with Jeremy on this. We chased and qualified for LL this year. Didn't race 1 local event this season, a first, in the history of the boy racing (12 plus years). I put 26K miles on my Transit since 1/26/21 until LL. We did Daytona, a ton of AQ and several RQ just to ride different...

    AMA gets the red flag

The race was red flagged because the medical staff could not get to him in a safe place. Had this happened ANYWHERE else on the track, the medics drag him off to the side and the race continues.

    Lectron Carb

LOL. I have different user name on vital. I posted the same thing on there. I agree that the Mikuni is a crappier carb than the Kehin and I also understand the jet it and forget it mentality. I happen to love messing the with jets and jetting. I have a notebook filled with notes...

    Lectron Carb

That's hilarious. Here is the video I reference in my earlier post.

    Lectron Carb

The JD jet kit is the cure to those carb issues on the KTM. I have helped solve several of those problems for guys at the track. I bought 2, JD sent me 4 by mistake, (he told me to keep them!) and I have passed them out. There is a lot of threads on vital on jetting these KTM 125's. I love...

Weekend Open Ride and Camping 07/18-07/19

Great track, but the prep needs help!

    OMA rules question.

Guilty of doing this when the boy was racing 85/Super. the Super took a dump after the 1st moto and just swapped wheels back and forth. Never even considered that I would be breaking the rules....LAME. At LL and the regionals, they check VIN numbers in staging. That I understand. Our...

Buckeye Series Admission and Sign Up Protocol for COCR this weekend

We can't move signups out of the stone age and online? I mean holy crap, standing in line to fill out signup paper work like I did when I raced in the early 80's is L-A-M-E. Not a shot at COCR but any track that still has to do in person sign up. Don't tell me it's about liability either, I...

    Dealerships vs online

Iron Pony seems to be kicking ass. Personally, I only buy VP race fuel from them. Prices on anything other than closeout items are MSRP.

    Best MX Track in Ohio

Puscheta Creek has been pretty good this year. Wouldn't say it was the best but certainly a great place to ride to change things up. Greer's is fun but can be a little one lined.

    Track Owners Unite!

I shouldn't have made the claim that IG, FB, Twitter and Pitracer isn't marketing, it is. I should have said that in conjunction with those, email marketing would be an effective tool to promote value or save people some money like the other poster suggested. Everyone gets a ton of spam...

    Track Owners Unite!

Probably off topic, but coincides with the post above about saving money. Does anybody remember going to see local bands at the bars? At the "merch" table or somewhere in the place, there was a "mailing list" form. You jotted down your address and the band would MAIL you a postcard or flyer...
