Exactly. Don't hide the expense with a separate rental fee.

If the promoter chooses to use transponders, then that expense should be included in the sign up fee. We are not charged a separate fee for paper and pencils to get scored now. If transponders are mandatory then the fee should be included.

450's are open class bikes. Age classes have no displacement limit. I am talking about A, B, C classes having 125cc or 250cc limit regardless of 2 or 4 stroke.

Exactly my point. The 250f class replaced the 125 class. The speed would be less if the displacement limit was 125cc, 2 or 4 stroke.

One way to reduce speeds is to reduce displacement of the machines. The AMA and the factories are equally to blame for allowing four strokes double the displacement of two strokes. That rule opened up the floodgates for all the classes to have larger displacement machines. It takes a lot more...

Nice website. I was looking through it and had a question. What is the motorcycle gate fee is for. Is that per race bike? Or pit bike? Or is that the gate fee if you arrive on a street bike?
