I plan on taking my son to race meadowlarks Sunday but don't see a trail bike class? He has a DRZ 70 right now and is definetly a beginner. I only see the next class up from 50s to be 65s. That class won't work either! Thoughts?

Meadowlarks 1998, Jr. Mini Class on a 1995 KX 80, Muddy as hell, I beat one person and I don't know how. I didn't even hit the "powerband" on the bike yet.

My 350 calls for 10W-50 full synthetic. My question is can I use 15w-50 full synthetic? I have a case of 15W-50 full synthetic at home and would use this if it wouldnt hurt anything..... Thanks!

does anyone else have issues with the number plate near the exhaust melting? See the attached, it even melting my backgrounds so I had to trim them back.... I LOVE this bike btw. Maybe if I would go faster the air would cool them down and they wouldn't melt :D

Only recommendation I have besides the obvious stated above is to clean your bike as soon as you get home from the track, dont let it sit until the next day! Keeps it fresh looking. Welcome back!

I never notice the engine brake on the new smaller bore four strokes. The 450s are a different story, I think that's why i don't like them. Your bike has less than 3 hours on it, maybe the rings etc have yet to settle in properly? More friction than normal? I bet you will get used to it by 15...

I wish someone would invest to bring that track back to shape. That was my favorite track in Ohio, even though it was a 3 hour haul, I tried to hit as many races there as possible.
