    EROC MotoXcountry - Round 1 @ WRMC

Thanks for hosting. A friend who doesn't like racing scrambles there (bad luck streak?) Came anyhow, said it was the most fun he had all year. I rode sick and still had fun.

New off road series announced... EROC

The EROC scrambles went very well drawing 10 or more money riders and near to and over 100 big bikes at each event. What we wanted was quality over quantity, anyone can spend an hour throwing up a few arrows in the same dozer cuts but these guys gave everything they had. Hopefully that...

Ok... What did you do to your bike today??

Tried to ride to breakfast, the bike refused to start. New fuel pump installed this afternoon. Glad I didn't have to do it in the snow roadside in Georgia! Need to drag the 250 out tomorrow and see if it will start after sitting for 4 months

Ok... What did you do to your bike today??

I had good luck with the Kenda Trackmasters on my 250 thumpers. Done with my trip, 2,600 miles of snow, mud and sand of NC, Tn, Miss, Ala, Ga and Fl. I noticed oil on the fork leg and rear cylinder from the crank vent, looks like I'll be in the garage this weekend.

Ok... What did you do to your bike today??

Bad day, dropped the 950 super tanker in a water hole a mile or more from the paved road and it watered out. All attempts to start failed. I put it back together and pushed for quite some time trying to make to where I could work on it and possibly get assistance before nightfall. An old man...

Ok... What did you do to your bike today??

A month or so after I sold the bike to a guy out west, he landed from a high speed jump and the fork stanction cracked just below the lower triple tree. He asked me if the bike had ever been wrecked??? I told hin it was a dirt bike, it was ridden, so therefore you can guarantee it had been! He...

Ok... What did you do to your bike today??

I had a bike a few years back that had a slot milled into the steering stem for what reason, I have no clue. All it did was let water, gas and dirt come down the stem where the vent tube went in and through the milled slot so I taped over it. IF you aren't a weight weenie, I tapped and...

Ok... What did you do to your bike today??

No work on the bikes, rode for about 6 hours though. Left the house on the 640 at 8am, 20 degrees, got back at 2 muddy, sore and tired. HA! You do that too? For me, it's to hide them from the wife. I'll hide stuff in parts boxes too, the last place anyone around here'd look.

If that doesn't work, take your axle and old bearing to a bearing reseller like Bearings Inc. They can match the axle diameter to your existing bearings width and outer diameter. Those bearing usually cost between $7 and $15 each.

6.28x18 - Still made. I thought about getting one for the 950 but the knobs are so big they depart from the carcass at high speed on the highway after time. Still may do it and keep them on my dirt rims. Buttoned the 640 up last night after installing new linkage bearing and valve check

Ok... What did you do to your bike today??

Finished up a go-over on the 950Adv. Fresh oil in the motor. New push rod and fluids in the clutch. Modified headlight-wind screen-dash unit to accommodate the now swelled from gasahol, 12 gallon gas tank. Was going to ride it to the car wash sans tanks to clean inches of crud from places...

    Road Bicycles?

I believe that was true last year, I think this year, only the 6 series are. I'd have to ask the shop Monday to know for sure. What is sad is companies like Specialized who I don't think ever made any frames at home even though they are an American co. I was lead to believe my BMC was Swiss...

    Road Bicycles?

Clinches are so good now days, tubular are fading out but are still popular among the hard core. Sadly the majority of bicycles are now made in Taiwan even Trek and Cannondale. Try to get the best bang for the buck in components, wheels and warranty . I still race an 05 Cannondale 6/13...
