Not back in the day. The only bikes of that era with plated cylinders were kawi's. I guess some Hondas too.

For people who have never hurt their tail bone, 1 week off is not enough to help, unless he is on serious pain killers. When I hurt mine, (not even broken) I was still favoring it a year later.

They do come with torx bits in the tool kit, but all of the bolts have regular metric heads as well. Always kind of drives me nuts when mxa bitches about the torx.

People will say lots of things in order to sell a bike. You can run the serial number through the BMV website to check the status of it. Buying a bike with no title or at least the certificate of origin is not worth it in my opinion, just too much hassle.

Bentleys near Pittsburgh had 13 450's for $6999. Not sure if they still have, they usually have ads on Pittsburgh Craigslist.
