So, what's the Quad Excuse THIS week?

I have to agree with Jeremy on this one. One practice session in the morning and make it 4 or 5 laps then get to some motos. With all of our local tracks you should have no problem learning a track in that many laps. If you want to run your 15 minute practice sessions show up Saturday. Hell...

    Memorable Ohio Amatuer MX Races

One of my favorite Ohio races, and tracks for the matter, had to be when the Ohio State Championship race made a comeback and Drew Wolfe held it out at his old GP MX style track. That is one of my all time favorite tracks and the race drew a big crowd.

    Malvern More Battle Info

heck yeah. still have the big duct tape #1 on it. Mosher the way I have been riding lately I could just stop and tell them what number I am instead of putting them on the bike and it wouldn't hurt my performance.

    Malvern More Battle Info

Looking forward to it! Hadn't been to Malvern since the late 80's until last years Battle race and really like the track. I have you beat on excuses though John, my bike is still in the back of the box truck from Chillitown. I am ready to race!!

    Battle race

Yeah I think everyone knows its a rule. I would imagine that McDade knew the rule too. Heck he went from a Kaw450 to a Yam250 not like he was fooling anyone is it? I have seen it happen at races over the years. Sometimes people you beat don't complain and sometimes they do. Guess its just who's...

    Battle race

I heard McDade only got the DQ because someone that he beat complained and it wasn't "automatic". Hell I got my ass kicked all weekend and never complained. :) well except to myself for being such a fatass!!

    PRO/AM 85cc Team Race***More $$$$ up for grabs***

Knox do you remember the mother day race they used to have at your track? My cousin Dennis Haas's mom was in traction for a few weeks after that one.

    Battle race

Hey Knox if you need me to bring anything for you let me know. Between my and Stumpy we can get you geared form hear to toe with what ever you need and you will still be able to breath. Unlike those "36" pants from WAY back!!!

    Battle race

I think you better bring that hoodie with you Jeremy. you get all that weight over the front wheel and it won't wheelie and away goes Stumpy!!!

    Battle race

Well I figure its the least I can do Stumpy. I mean she can work on her tan while she is out there!

    Battle race

We can split it up and each cover one end of the track Knox, that will keep you in good health.

    PRO/AM 85cc Team Race***More $$$$ up for grabs***

Someone should get ahold of Willy Browning for this race. Heck he is about the same size as most of the kids racing 85's nowadays. If you have seen him on a pitbike you know he can fly on an 85.

    Battle race

I am so old that I NEVER had to buy another AMA card in my life. Been a member so long that I am a life member now, so it doesn't effect me but I do see where it would be expensive for a first race out. Knox I am looking forward to seeing you and the boy this weekend. Will be awesome to see...

How's that for cool Georgie ? That's old school 1985!! Back when I wasn't fat and slow and you probably weren't born yet :)!!! HAHA

    Vets at LL

Ok but I am going to sandbag in practice so I can ride C so I can win!! :) Not really I just really suck in practice. Always have. I am glad they didn't have timed qualifying back in my day and we actually had to ride qualifiers.

    Vets at LL

Sorry was a little slow THIS YEAR I actually had to work today but my answer will always be the same when the topic is brought up EVERY YEAR. Don't worry next week we will have a topic on who can and cant ride the C class and who is sandbagging.
  17. mblair

    Vets at LL

Nope, not the same thing. C class is for beginners and if you raced when you were younger you are obviously not a "beginner" so no C class. Sorry completely different. AND for the record I would welcome a 40 A class.

    Vets at LL

So does that mean that if I go to a local race now I have to race the 450a class at 45 years old, riding once a month, and being fat, old and out of shape? Because I held a pro card with in was in my 20's? REALLY??
  19. mblair

    Headed to Loretta's

Congrads to Jon Agin in the 35 and 40 classes too. Looks like he had one bad moto in 40 but great rides other than that. Good job Jon.

    Stuck in a rut

Problem is when people limit classes and little Timmy, or grown Timmy for that matter, can't get a trophy in the "look at me I spend $10.000 on my bike and graphics" class they bitch about that too!! Show up, race and enjoy hanging out with people who have a love for the sport! But that is...
