You know it Knox!! As a matter of a fact how about we just hop in our private jets from all that money and meet up at the country club, play some golf, drink some fancy drinks and over tip big fake titted waitresses!!!
No offense but your opinion (which your entitled to definitely) is spoken from the viewpoint of MX/SX as a hobby not a profession. That makes a BIG difference.
Yeah that's not new. They did that for a qualifier over at Sunday Creek probably 10-12 years ago. Like 812 said though it was only for classes that already had enough to move on to the regionals anyway.
Hey John250...what is it you do for a living? Oh year Insurance....I think I will take the word of the guy who does it for a living. But hey that's just me. This place is like Jr High sometimes...oh wait let me be politically correct and call it "middle school" now before I get yelled at too :)
Guy is a SUPER good dude and I ride up there quite a bit, but its only about 30min from my house. Track isn't real big and is kinda narrow but if the weather is right its got good dirt because its right along the rider so its kinda sandy.
I will warn that they don't separate practice so if you...
I don't care about the announcers they put down on the floor for eye candy either way. What I do wish they would do is since they brought back the semi's, how about we get to talk to the winners so that they can thank their sponsors and get more publicity for more than just MONSTER. Guess...
Keep in mind that if you are go to "payback" it has to be in some form other than cash money. Anyone that races for $$$ is no longer considered an amateur and that opens a whole new can of worms when you look at bigger nationals. If a rider is heading that way. Track bucks and Shop bucks...
I thought I was the only one who thought that! I agree 100%, fun track to ride and practice on but not a good "race" track. Always reminded me of a Honda Hills with a little bigger jumps.
TBO, that's Opie (Mah Joslin) that took the tumble right in front of you. Comes to the races with the Robinson crew most weekends. He was up and alright but did sit out the rest of the day. Tough bastard that's for sure!! I would still be sitting on the hill side.
The one thing that I agree on this "Chilli town review" thread is that I think motos should run by time not laps. I remember back when that is the way almost all of the tracks ran it. Don't remember when or why they quit doing it but I think it makes things easier to run on a schedule.
Name...
As I put in the other thread...Watching Justin ride was the highlight of my day at the race. Seeing him stand and skin through the whoops and stand and jump the infield triple just shows how much of a BAD DUDE Justin Weeks really is!!!! Kid is a true inspiration!!!
