I did new foam and a cover a few years ago on my 18. Wasn't too bad.

I have same issue. Bruised my tailbone years ago and doesn't take much for it to hurt again. Even sitting on a hard chair. Skin isn't the issue and I don't want to quit riding for the day just because of the seat. Im thinking soft foam, going back and forth on the shape.
