I've taken a hard hit with Fly F2 helmet also. The helmet was messed up but I was fine. I'm happy with it. I also have a Shoei, feels good, I like it also, but I haven't tried it out in a crash yet! Don't really feel like testing it out that way!

I think the point is most older guys don't really care much about a $3 trophy. Anything is better. Track Bucks, T-shirt, Grips, Mugs, Umbrella... Anything more useful or significant than a cheap trophy.

Pretty good photo-shop, I think. Did an image search during lunch and found the exact picture. I suppose it is 'possible' they had the camera on a tripod and were able to place the bikes in the exact same position.

I don't understand why they cut that part of the track off. I was bummed also. Took out 2 of the funnest jumps, not that I'm a big jump guy... But the way they cut the track is kind of hokey. Only thing I could figure was they saved paying a couple more flaggers. It wouldn't have added...

I was at High Point racing with a friend, he was in the 250c class. I was in the mechanic area and the first lap the leader did the big quad at the back of the track. I commented to the guy next to me that I thought this was C class! He said... my kid is in second place... :rolleyes:

Wasn't there a 125 race at Hangtown? Not much talk about it, that I can find. Thought I'd be able to find a video somewhere.

I can load the Fox Go app on my phone, air-play it to my tv and watch in HD, no problems (till I fall asleep). But the next day I watch the recording on FS2 on cable and it looks like crap. Why?? It is the same cameras and equipment, someone at Time Warner just needs to flip on the HD switch...

I wonder what happened? There are no crazy jumps on that track. Hard to believe a kid died. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

I like everything you have listed. I also want more on the gate and more seat time. How about offer $5 fee if you just want to race but don't want to sign up for whatever organization? No matter what you do some guys are only going to do a couple local races a year. They might go to another...

Some of us in the +40 get passed by 85's! (on a 450) lol
