    Mxgp on cbs sports

MXGP does have some cool ideas like the 2 story pit-box setup through the mechanics area and the drone helicopter camera shots. The track looked super hard packed and square-edged. I will be watching more of these races.

Yep your right, it's not a real race like "Motor-cross":)

An open and candid discussion about GP Racing

I agree that if you can tap into the regular "practicers" that come on a BC weekend you have a nice size turnout. With a facility like Briarcliff you could eliminate the woods, drop the sessions to 30 minutes, link together the Big Track and C Track with a grass track and see an increase in...

    BC GP Race, 10-5-13

Nice to meet you too! Now that I know you are the one with the sweet pit bike track in the neighborhood, I will be crashing the next riding party, lol.

    BC GP Race, 10-5-13

Yeah that was crazy! You definitely were motoring me on the fast sections. I had the yz tapped in 5th and you were still gaining on the last straight. Fun race for sure. My tongue was in the spokes for the last mile. The deer situation was interesting when it decided to run down the track after...

    BC GP Race, 10-5-13

Fun day, nice to meet some of the PitRacer regulars! Great job with the layout and prep Mr BC. It was fun to blast off the line with all the bikes in the 11:00 session. Well, it was fun after the third kick...

    BC GP Race, 10-5-13

Count me in too. I rode the MX track & trails on Sunday and they are great. The trail has nice flow with cool little berms and ruts. No bottlenecks or tight areas. I could drive a truck through most of it. Really nice for a GP. Attention MX snobs: This is is a giant motocross with long sessions...

Beans GP Round One 1/2 mx 1/2 woods

Haha love some vet whips! Not to go all Gary Semics but 1st gear is for the pits. Click it up a gear and enjoy some traction. Unless you are running a 44 tooth rear sprocket...lol.

Beans GP Round One 1/2 mx 1/2 woods

No, no, it's way more fun to ride pure motocross for 10 minutes and go sit in a chair at the truck. I don't think people are ready for this kind of racing. They may get tired and have a good time. Too risky. The woods are scary. I'm going to go seat bounce some triples and scrub the finish line...

    Battle Series by the numbers...

I probably should have started another thread with my original post about possibly running a second track for mini or vet riders... Started a small grass fire there! It is interesting to hear it wouldn't be well received if that was the case. I don't have a horse (or kid) in the race, but...

    Battle Series by the numbers...

Random though, but not necessarily my opinion: Could the mini-bike classes and select other classes race on the "C" track? Maybe we could call it the "Vet Track" or "Intermediate Track" like they do at some tracks in Cali? I know the idea has its draw backs, but there would be some benefits? Or...
