1991 Honda 90 cub.

Anyone know about the tranny fluid?
There is a drain bolt . A check oil level bolt on the side by the front sprocket.
No oil filler cap. No capacity on the side .
I called the local honda shop they say 3.8 oz tranny oil capacity. So I filled ( through the bolt hole)till the oil cAme out the check bolt and that is about right!!!!
I'm afraid to start it with that little oil in it!!!

I have a Honda Cub and per the service manual they don't give the total transmission capacity. They say to use gear oil, SAE #90 & it sounds like you did the proper way. Let me know if you need any other info.

Thanks. It takes about 6 oz. Till oil comes out of that hole. Man that is scary!!!

I wouldn't take a chance, Just sell it! I'll give you $500.00 with just the 6oz of oil in it.
