School is back in session, and so is the racing here at the Action Sports Moto Park. The next Grand Prix is this Saturday, September 6th. The weather forecast so far is showing chances of rain near the weekend. If we aren’t able to race on Saturday, we will attempt to race on Sunday, the 7th. We hope everyone is ready for another great day of racing action.

The gate will open at 9:00 A.M. Admission is $10 per person. Military Vets get in the gate and race for free with current Military I.D. Get to the track early to avoid sign up lines. Sign up is $30 for the first class, $15 for each additional class. 50cc and Mini ATV registration will be $15. Every rider must purchase a transponder. Transponders can be purchased at sign up for $10 and are good for as long as they remain intact. Make sure to test your transponder before your race, incase you need to obtain a new one. There will be NO AMA or DISTRICT membership needed.

Unfortunately it looks like the plan to run the remaining Grand Prix events at the Action Sports Moto Park on Saturday’s will have to wait until October. With an 80% chance of rain predicted to begin Friday night and continue through Saturday evening we have decided to run the race Sunday. The forecast looks great Sunday with a sunny 75 degree day predicted. It’s tough to outguess the weather and we are sorry for any confusion but we want to run the event with the best possible weather and track conditions. Make sure you CALL BEFORE YOU HAUL!


This Sunday’s youth ATV race will have a longer track than in the past, if fact it’s over twice as long at nearly a mile in length. The youth ATV race begins at noon and will run for 30 minutes. We will also offer a beginner mini ATV class that will run at 2:30 PM for 30 minutes on a separate, shorter, easier race course. The riders in this class will not need to purchase a transponder. The micro mini 50cc motorcycle riders will not have to purchase a transponder. Sign up for the mini motorcycle and ATV classes is $15. Gate entry is $10.
