AHRMA backgrounds/Numbers

Fellas,
I picked up an 81 KX 250 this weekend and would like to get custom yellow/black backgrounds for it per AHRMA. Who do you recommend that would be able to fit my application? Thanks
 
I've used BadBrush Designs a few times. Ohio based and they do good work.

Glad to hear you grabbed it up.
Wasn't that long ago that we had a forum discussion around Kawasaki's and if I recall correctly, everybody enthusiastically and unanimously agreed that we simply need more KX's and KDX's on the gate. :D

Mike is right; the more KXs the better - green is easier to spot on the track amongst all that yellow.

If you need plastics, decals, or backgrounds, I recommend Nightmare Racing - they specialize in Kawasakis. Great guys and their plastics are really nice compared to others I have mistakenly tried. The site is kinda pleasant to browse as well!

I have used oval backgrounds and then added vintage style numbers. Actually my pit crew, trainer, and wife does the numbers. I think it gives a vintage bike a nice era appropriate look. Look forward to seeing how your pre-printed combination works.

I picked up a 1 owner 81 as a back up parts bike a while back. After I looked closer it was nicer than I first thought, except for the painted tank and plastics. I ride it quite a bit.

The 81 KX is a nice bike - you will like the suspension and way it handles. The power curve fits me well.

It will be great to see another KX at the track. And after watching your videos we can now look forward to a green bike out in front.

Thanks for the info guys.
Dano, your KX looks awesome. I will post some pics of mine before I head to SC for the first XC round in March. What type of silencer do you have on it? I'm struggling to to find performance parts like exhaust. Also, what brake shoes do you recommend for these Kermits?
