Driven Mx recently announced their plans to participate in the 2016 AMA Amsoil Arenacross Series.
Driven Mx is a new arenacross team started by seasoned professional racer Clay Elliott, who will race on the team.
The team consists of Clay Elliott #23, of Buford, Georgia, a seasoned Arenacross racer, Justin Jones #514, of Madera, California, a second year Arenacross racer, Bailey Croom #45, of Douglasville, Georgia, a first year Arenacross rider. Lastly, the team’s head mechanic Lauren Kelley, of Aurora, Ohio, a 2016 class graduate from PowerSport Institute.

Part of Driven Mx is focused on building its team members into professional Arenacross racers.
Rather than being solely performance based, Elliott said Driven Mx Racing is achievement based, giving good advertisement opportunities to sponsors all over the country and on national platforms, giving riders the chance to race both the east and west coasts and giving back through visits to children's hospitals and charity events along the way.
“We want to be ambassadors of Arenacross racing,” team owner and racer Elliott said.
Driven Mx is Elliott's first team as owner. He has been racing professionally in Amsoil Arenacross since 2011.
In 2015 he raced the full Amsoil Arenacross Series and saw the opportunity to start his own team in order to give other riders a positive first year experience and to gain the points they need to eventually race Monster Energy Supercross.
Elliott has a philosophy about racing and life that will carry his team to the points and the wins they need to be successful.
“For me racing isn't about my own personal achievements or goals. It's about growing a sport so that more pro-riders can make a living and have the opportunity to do something they love for as long as possible,” he said.
The Amsoil Arenacross series will take place from January 9 to May 6, 2016.
The Amsoil ArenaCross Series Races will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio, Baltimore Maryland, Allentown, Pennsylvania, Greensboro, North Carolina, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Birmingham, Alabama, Omaha, Nebraska, Tampa, Florida, Lafayette Louisiana, Ontario, California, Solenes, California, Nampa, Idaho, Las Vegas, Nevada.
