LL final classes posted, big changes for old guys

+35 class eliminated.
+45 and +50 now each separate with full gate

+30 and +45 are "sportsman" classes that do not allow ex pros that have earned a national point.

Since they added that region out west, they only take the top 6 any way. Not that big of a help to get info for us old never very fast guys! But the regional weekends are soooo fun with a group of friends!

MXSports taking a beating online over elimination of +35. I liked the +35 class but really since I'm now 45 it doesn't affect me much as I will just race 40 and 45.

There are other classes that could've been cut before 35+. Why is there 2 super mini classes with overlapping ages? Why is there limited classes ?
I really think all C classes need to go away, the top 10 are fast enough to be in the 20 in B.

I personally know of 2 top ten 35+ guys who bought new bikes just for 2016 LL's..

I like that 35 class. Davey jones got a title in that class on his 125 right ? A Cleveland road crew employee. That's blue collar championships right there at its finest.

I just do not understand why they don't just simplify it and do 25+, 35+, 35+A, 45+ and 45+A and be done with it.

He won +30B/C class, so did Robin. Robin won it in 2000, Davey won it ten years later in 2010.

+35 has been dominated by ex-pros....Tortelli, Reynard, Ferry, etc.

These are the Vet Age classes for 2016, with sportsman denoting you could not have earned a professional point, etc. All are full gate 42 racer classes.

Interesting thing is, there is now a petition floating around that people are signing to "bring back" the +35 class.
