yes its still there, current lease is held by Tim of Youngstown MX.

He had plans to open OIR this year for practice but has been very busy with other projects

Thanks for the info, that would be cool to have a practice track there. I haven't ridden in 20 years but sometimes get the itch to pick up an old 125 for fun

wasn't there something along the lines of if no event is held there within the year the city will shut it down for good or something? i hope that's not true....
