Tyler seems like a good dude. Problem is he falls in the mid to back of the pack crowd that gets little to no tv coverage. Companies give sponsors for the advertising, not just because he is a nice guy. TV is only concerned with the front 5 and wherever past champs are. Other then that... nothing.
The ugly graphics with 4000 colors and stickers from an equal amount of different companies all over the bike also detract from the main sponsor. You can’t see the sponsors name. Remember a few years ago when Spam sponsored a NASCAR? Only thing you could see was SPAM. Yellow letters on a blue car. It’s hard to see a red sticker on a black background. Up close, sure it looks cool. From 50 feet and or on TV it looks like a red dot.
Right now the only desernable logo is the Monster M on the helmet or the all Red Bull helmet. I didn’t even realize Barcia was wearing TLD until the podium.
No podium + no tv = no sponsor cash
