Uber Eats

Anyone in here do this? For a second job, can you make decent money doing this? Just curious…
When we are out to dinner I hear/see a steady stream of uber eats (or door dash or) drivers picking up orders almost everywhere. They must at least think they are making money in order to be doing it imo.

Quick google says the average range is from $12-$20 an hour gross before tips.

Not just food orders, my son had a guy in a new Cadillac SUV deliver a sound bar from Best Buy to him one Sunday afternoon. After I had unboxed the one he had delivered the day before just to "test" it. It still works great with my TV. ;)

I bet I could make some good
Coin here in San Antonio. I rode with an Uber, Lyft. Driver. He’s got it down. He switches back and forth from services based on time of day and quality of the riders.

car was clean. And he knew everything about the city.

so if you’re going to do this make sure you know the area and whose riding with you.

Also back when I did Uber nobody tipped. Because at that time the company said don’t tip. They said it was built into the app. Which it wasn’t. Now tips are acceptable. And that really bumps your income up.
