The holeshot rat pack has been hard at work for the past two months creating a whole new facility Featuring 3 completely different tracks for 2022. We now will feature three racetracks , the motocross track which has been completely rebuilt a completely new pit bike track which is behind the motocross track , it will feature 60s 80s pit bikes and even peewees and mini quads , and on special occasions we can extend the motocross track into the pit bike track for an ultra long moto . We now feature an all new quarter mile oval for 2022 . it will feature TT racing for quads ,side-by-side racing for both pack racing and also timed racing with two racers at a time with staggered starts and you race against a clock with best time the winner . And we then wind up the nite with cornfield 500 cars . ( depending on availability you can rent one at the track for $250 for the night and also use it in the demolition derby ) we end the night with a demolition Derby (derby is only once a month throughout the season ) we will eventually add flat track Racing and a 300 foot drag strip up the center and out the end through turns 1 and 2 starting in mid season 2022 . For our winter operations we are waiting for an answer back from several manufacturers for two snow cannons to make snow for snowcross racing in the center section of the oval . We already have installed three irrigation sprinkler Cannon‘s that have the capability of putting out up to 1200 gallons of water a minute and we can actually make it rain inside the bowl . We will use those same cannons to make a ice oval for winter time racing and as soon as we have a confirmation and or are able to find used equipment we will have a schedule out for winter snow cross and ice oval racing as usual Covid has that industry in a mess too and trying to buy equipment is almost impossible . We are also trying to staff a lot of this operation and as everybody else we are having problems with finding qualified staff . That would include Flagman including a head flagman we’re also are looking for an announcer and we need registration personnel , hopefully familiar with trackside racing software . We also need concession personnel especially somebody that can act as a line cook as we have expanded our food operations . We now have teamed up with Hotel Conneaut and Conneaut lake park who will offer discounted rooms and Also have a liquor license and outside bar for our special events .We are having a hard time finding) personnel too j,just like everyone else so if there is everyone out there that thinks they have a talent for one of positions and loves racing as much as we do please call the Track phone number and we can talk , we are certainly excited about the upcoming 2022 season and you have a chance to get a preview of the three tracks this Sunday please drive safely .
