this race should be on any east coasters bucket list. its been a few years since i have been up there but it is well worth the drive!!! it is a true natural terrain track. i just looked the other day and saw this race was coming up but cant make it this year :(

The Kessler name has been around that track probably longer than you have been alive Mike, so i am sure that the "local star" explains the treatment. I saw that on the video and thought that was pretty ridiculous though. i expect more from professionals in todays racing!

i don't know if you have talked to Drew and his boys at Actionsports yet but i would definitely give him a shout. His moto track has some of the best dirt in the state and lord knows Drew knows what it up when it comes to giving the riders a great track!!

am i the only one that thinks that part of why the speeds aren't as fast as they used to be is that more people are interested in practicing instead of racing? when you practice you don't push the limits as much as when you are racing, thus you don't improve your speed as much. I don't know...

i dont' think that you 2 are comparing apples to apples. What JO is talking is one BIG race a year in which HE decides to add "bonuses" for the riders and spectators and John is taling about just a local normal race. If DMC would add this things to their LOCAL race it may add to their crowd but...

i have heard great things about your moms chicken and noodles but never had them personally. my little girl has had them not that i think about it one time on a practice day and she LOVED them. Maybe for the Battle of Ohio i will try them out if they are there :)

Jon Agin put in another top 10 finish in the ultra competitive 40+ class! Congrads Jon! i can guarantee that Jon was still going strong at the end of his motos! there aren't allot of riders i know in better shape than him.

This sport, as with ANY motor sport, can be as expensive or inexpensive as YOU choose for it to be. As i am sure you know as i think i have heard you mention drag racing? I have been involved in this sport in pretty much every aspect from youth racer, top local b rider, top local a rider...

Funny thing, i know of a kid who just finished top 10 in a moto today and i am not even sure his parents make 50k a year combined and he has 1 bike. it was the schoolboy class not the B class though so i am sure that makes the difference right??

i love how in this thread everyone throws out insults and talks s**t then ends it with "cant we all just get along and ride" but at the same time doesn't really have any input to the question ask except to cut someone down who is talking about getting their kid into riding...thats funny right...
