    Daytona-lap-times-cut-20-seconds-per-lap

    Braking refresh: Pad compounds??, etc.

if your bike is older than two years, or you havent changed the fluid in the past you should disassemble the calipers and replace the piston seals and clean the seal grooves out. they fill with dirt and brake fluid grunge. also lube the slider pins and tensioning clips with silicone grease...

    Daytona-lap-times-cut-20-seconds-per-lap

Bike week sucks now in general, the daytona SX race as epic and legendary as it is, is the worst race to spectate at. they did away with the flat track at new symrna, moved the gncc to a damn 4x4 mud pit this year and the alligator enduro is s**t. they dont race liter bikes in the 200 anymore...

    Braking refresh: Pad compounds??, etc.

sintered or oem pads are the best. using ebc nomenclature as an example, the mxs are sintered pads which are best for all around riding in wet and dry conditions but wear discs quicker than other types of pads and can create more heat, organic are best for dry conditions and wear quickly but...

    Snow Riding

depending on how cold it is and how much snow you are riding in the radiators can be blocked off to get the engine up to proper temps. snowbikes and ice racing they put cardboard or tape over the radiator louvers. make sure to lube your chain really good before and after as it is basically...

    Rekluse Clutch.

neither electric start or launch control is outlawed in sx. traction control banned, but all the factory bikes have it, the wheel speed sensors are not allowed. but who needs a wheel speed sensor when you have things like gear position, rpm, throttle opening, etc. all those sensors already on...

Stripped oil filter bolt hole 250sxf, Need Permanet fix?

helicoil or timesert is the best if you want to do it right and keep the bike! i like timeserts better because they are one peice and expand a little when you put the bolt in and tighten it. either heilcoil or timesert will be stronger than the original threads if done right. i would do both...

tire changer stand Who makes a good one?

Damn!!! that tire changing stand is sweet! really expensive though. the dollar conversion is wrong though. 299 euro = $408 us dollars. 399 euro = $545 us dollars. plus shipping from europe. if i was doing a lot of mousse tires or a lot of tires in general i would get one.

tire changer stand Who makes a good one?

paid for many a riding trip with one of these changing tires at the track for $10 a pop. motion pro makes the best tire irons too, the spoon type with wide spoon face. pit posse makes a knock off of these spoons but they bend and break.

tire changer stand Who makes a good one?

motion pro makes a bitchin tire changing stand that holds an air tank also. gives it some weight and makes it less tippy. the mp stand also has a mini wheel adapater that works good for mini wheels. the pit posse one is ok if you dont change many tires per year.

    WRMC Winter Harescramble

I was there! raced in 30+/ sr1 and finished in 4th place. I crashed 4 or 5 times and had my goggles ice up twice but it was a blast! It was only my second time riding with studs or in snow and ice! Trail was laid out really nice and flowed well with a couple tight spots and a few open spots...
