Bent Radiator Repair

In some initial playing with the very nice, original '91 RM125 I picked up, basically the only damaged item is a badly bent left side radiator. Not sure how this got bent as the shroud is near perfect condition. Anyway...

I have since found that this year was an exclusive year, meaning I need to find that exact radiator to replace - other years do not match. Looks like still available OEM but that is upwards of $400.

In searching I have found Mylers in Utah. Anyone know of local Ohio places that will do repair?

Good luck, radiator like to bend one direction, as soon as you bent it back they crack. Leave it to pro's like Mylers. There excellent. They welded a cap on TM radiator for me.

Most cars have a combination of plastic and aluminum radiators. Any quality automotive radiator REPAIR shop can handle the task. There are a couple down my way if that one Sharc used cant help you for some reason.

Sharc any idea where?
I googled and there was a place listed as "Valley City Radiator" right at Sleepy Hollow and 42 but I just drove by there on the way home and there's nothing there.

It might be easier/quicker for me to just send it to Mylers than run around searching local.....I was reading Mylers site and they talk about how they fix ones that others failed at, similar to what Fox described above.

Current advertisement in District 11 newspaper, just glanced at it last night.

I realize radiator repair is specialty work but I'm surprised Parma Dave doesn't dabble in this. Certainly no shortage of work in this field. I think every one of my bike radiators is tweaked or bent at least a little. I just haven't sent any out yet, but I need to.

Kevin at Kames does a really nice job, we had one that looked like the curvature of a taco. When we got it back you didn't know it was bent. We have also had Jim at JPC powersports fix one as well.

Radiator is fixed and on it's way back from Mylers. I'll post pics of it when I get it, here are some before I shipped it.

Tony -- Yes been watching Ebay for months, nothing. That's what prompted me to look into getting it fixed.

As advertised, Myler's does a good job and one day turnaround.
